ATS Locks For Week 13

Here it is, some of the games we’ve been looking forward to for most of the 2021 college football season . Some of the great rivalries take place in the days after Thanksgiving, so you have to really take a good look before making your college football picks. We’ve done our studying and have our biggest locks of Week 13.

Wisconsin Badgers vs Minnesota Golden Gophers

Odds: Wisconsin -7

Both spots in the Big Ten Championship Game are up for grabs but the Wisconsin Badgers can make things easy for the West Division by simply winning on the road on Saturday. Wisconsin has been on a roll, winning seven straight to put its fate in its own hands, as it holds the tiebreaker with the Iowa Hawkeyes, who come into this week tied for the top spot in the division.

Coach PJ Fleck’s Minnesota squad is hoping to finish an up-and-down season strong after multiple season-ending injuries in the backfield.

The Badgers’ defense is one of the best in the nation, though, and they should be able to keep the Golden Gophers off the scoreboard. Wisconsin’s strong running game has been shining through lately as well, with freshman Braelon Allen rushing for 228 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Nebraska last weekend. The way to go in this one when you’re betting online is to take the red-hot Badgers to roll to an easy win.

Pick: Wisconsin -7

Alabama Crimson Tide at Auburn Tigers

Odds: Alabama -20

This is a big margin, especially with Alabama winning by seven points over the Arkansas Razorbacks last weekend. The Crimson Tide need to be impressive in this one if they have any hope of staying in the College Football Playoff top four if they were to lose to top-ranked Georgia in the SEC Championship Game next weekend.

Auburn comes in on a three-game losing streak, including a 21-17 loss at South Carolina last weekend. The Tigers are reeling, and their biggest rival is certainly going to be more than happy to do all it can to keep them there. The Alabama game always brings out the best in the Tigers, but we’re not thinking that’s going to be enough in this one.

Bryce Young and the Alabama offense should be rolling from the start. Young is coming off a 559-yard, five-touchdown game against Arkansas, and he keeps it going in this one as well. The Tide roll to a big win.

Pick: Alabama -20

Ohio State Buckeyes at Michigan Wolverines

Odds: Ohio State -8

The game of the week, the year … ? Ohio State and Michigan squaring off at any time is a big game, but this one is for a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game and a chance to get into the College Football Playoff. Both teams are coming in with one loss, so a win in this one and in next week’s conference title game would put either one in the final four of college football.

The Buckeyes were extremely impressive in routing the Michigan State Spartans last week, with freshman quarterback C.J. Stroud throwing for 432 yards and six touchdowns in the game, which was a blowout just minutes into the contest. Stroud and the Ohio State passing game will be able to move the ball on the Wolverines if they can avoid the strong Michigan pass rush.

Unfortunately for the Wolverines, they don’t have the same caliber offense as the Buckeyes, and they’ll have trouble keeping up for long. Ohio State can strike from anywhere on the field, and the Wolverines’ secondary isn’t one of the strongest in the conference. Expect the Buckeyes to surpass what the NCAA odds have them set at with a double-digit victory.

Pick: Ohio State -8
