Back Bowling Green to Cover in College Football Games

The Bowling Green Falcons and Western Michigan Broncos will conclude the regular season when the two match up on Tuesday night. Each team will be looking to finish the season strong after both lost their most recent games. The Falcons saw their four-game win streak come to an end with a close loss to Toledo while Western Michigan was blanked against Northern Illinois. Both will be looking to get back in the win column, but NCAA football odds favor Bowling Green.

Bowling Green Falls Short

The Falcons couldn’t extend their four-game winning streak to five after they fell in the closing minutes to first-place Toledo.

Despite another strong game offensively from Bowling Green in which it scored 31 points and finished with 404 total yards, it lost by one to the Rockets after it gave up a touchdown in the final two minutes.

The outing was a drop in performance for the Falcons, which had given up 17 points and 289.5 total yards in their previous four games while allowing 24.7 points and 336.4 total yards overall this season.

Bowling Green will now look to bounce back defensively and, despite its last performance, it should be a solid NCAA football pick for a better game against Western Michigan.

Western Michigan Blanked

The Broncos had one of their worst games offensively of the season after it got shut out against Northern Illinois 24-0.

Although Western Michigan averaged 41.5 points and 452.5 total yards in its previous two games to grab a pair of wins, it couldn’t manage a point against the Huskies, finishing with 206 total yards and 11 first downs.

The Broncos’ usually strong passing game struggled to get going as quarterback Hayden Wolff went 18 of 31 for 182 yards after the team normally averages 219.2 passing yards a game for second in the conference.

Western Michigan will look to turn its offense around against Bowling Green, but against a solid Falcons defense, bettors may want to see how it bounces back first before looking at live betting odds.

Bowling Green vs Western Michigan Best Bet

Both Bowling Green and Western Michigan will be looking to get a win in their final game of the regular season, but despite the Falcons being on the road, they should cover the small spread from college football lines.

Both teams had some dismal performances in their last games, and though Western Michigan isn’t likely to put out another offensive performance like it did last week, it should still have a tough time against Bowling Green’s defense.

The Falcons have also been strong on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 34.7 points in their last three games. They should be able to keep that scoring up against a Western Michigan defense allowing 31.5 points a game this season.

Though these two will each be trying to bounce back from a loss, Bowling Green should be able to cover the 2 ½-point spread from the sportsbook.
