Big Ten Week 13 Props: Ohio State-Michigan Head Betting Menu

The temptation is to make the player prop bets all about the huge Ohio State-Michigan game, but there are some other options to consider when it comes to the best college football bets for Week 13.

Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson came through as one of our Week 12 best bets while two other best bets came within 10 yards of delivering as well.

The offensive stars on both teams have player props worth considering as the Buckeyes and Wolverines meet with the winner securing a spot in the Big Ten title game and the College Football Playoff as well.

While most of the focus is on the game of the year in the Big Ten, Penn State deserves some love as well from those who bet online.

When looking at our NCAA football betting lines, all five games scheduled for Saturday have single-digit point spreads with Maryland and Wisconsin both favored on the road.

When looking at our NCAA football championship odds, Penn State dropped out of the Top 10 in the national polls while Michigan and Ohio State continue to be ranked second and third behind two-time defending national champion Georgia. Ohio State fell out of the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings, a step ahead of the Wolverines.

Michigan (+275) is second only behind two-time defending national champion Georgia (+230) for the best odds of winning the national title. Ohio State is priced at +550 in the championship odds.

Here’s a look at some NCAA football odds and betting options in Week 13.

Harrison Ready for his Heisman Moment?

Right now Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is lagging behind when looking at our sportsbook‘s Heisman Trophy odds. Quarterbacks Jayden Daniels of LSU, Bo Nix of Oregon and Michael Penix Jr. of Washington are the Heisman front-runners.

Harrison has had mixed results in the two games against ranked teams. He had three catches for 32 yards versus Notre Dame before erupting for 11 receptions for 162 yards against Penn State.

Look for Harrison to be targeted early and often in this matchup.

NCAAF Pick: Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. to have at least 88 receiving yards -113

Henderson on Roll for Ohio State

Ohio State is coming off a season-high 215 rushing yards in a win over Minnesota so the offensive line that lost multiple starters to the NFL is peaking at the perfect time.

The last time the Buckeyes played in Ann Arbor, Ohio State was limited to 64 yards on 30 carries. Expect more from top rusher TreVeyon Henderson and the Ohio State running game.

Henderson has rushed 74 times for 499 yards over the last four games and he figures to be rather busy on Saturday afternoon.

NCAAF Pick: Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson to rush for at least 84 yards -114

Corum Ready for More Trips to the End Zone

Blake Corum leads all Football Bowl Subdivision players with 20 touchdown runs. He has scored at least two touchdown runs in each of the last three games and accomplished that feat seven times this season.

Corum’s last memory of facing Ohio State was suffering a season-ending injury in a 45-23 win over the Buckeyes.

When Michigan gets near the end zone, there is little question of who will be getting the ball. He has been delivering in the College Football player props all season long and he is a top option yet again.

NCAAF Pick: Michigan’s Blake Corum to score at least two touchdowns +200

Ready to Get Passing Grades

Over the years, the Ohio State and Michigan annual matchup has been about which team is more physical at the line of scrimmage. That figures to be the case yet again. However, both quarterbacks have the potential to make their presence felt.

Ohio State’s Kyle McCord and J.J. McCarthy of Michigan rank second and third in the Big Ten in passing yards per game. McCarthy leads the conference in passing efficiency with McCord second in passer rating.

Ohio State and Michigan are first and second in the Big Ten in passing defense so it will be strength against strength.

NCAAF Pick: Ohio State’s Kyle McCord to have at least 238 passing yards -113

NCAAF Pick: Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy to have at least 202 passing yards -110

Will Allar Finally Get Going?

Things have not gone well when Drew Allar dropped back to pass in the last two weeks.

The highly touted recruit is just 16-for-36 passing for 149 yards with one touchdown pass and no interceptions in a loss to Michigan and a win over Rutgers.

There should be more opportunities for Allar to thrive against a Michigan State defense that has allowed the second-most touchdown passes.

Don’t expect a 300-yard effort from Allar but he should be able to get going at the expense of the Spartans.

NCAAF Pick: Penn State’s Drew Allar to have at least 183 passing yards -108
