- Take a look at all the college football odds for Week 6 at the BetUS Sportsbook.
Welcome to another week of the wild, wild Big 12 as I do my best to make sense of the chaos with my college football picks around the conference. It is hard to tell just how good the Big 12 is compared to other conferences, but what is clear is that the parity at the top means most teams still have a chance to win.
One word of caution when picking this week’s games in the Big 12 and around college football. Most teams are headed toward their fifth game of the season. This is when we start to see opt-outs as players preserve their chance to redshirt by sitting out the remainder of the season.
You might be better off placing four CFB bets closer to kickoff when we know who is actually playing this weekend.
Here’s a look at my best bets around the Big 12.
3 Best Big 12 Bets for CFB Week 6
1. Iowa State (-11½) Rolls Over Baylor
It is starting to look like there is a gap between Iowa State and the rest of the Big 12. That said, it seems the conference tends to completely upend our expectations with multiple upsets each weekend.
Baylor has been in every game this season and yet the Bears have lost all three of their games against Big 12 opponents. I like Iowa State to thrive back at home in Ames, led by quarterback Rocco Becht.
Bet online Iowa State to cover the sizable spread at -11½ versus Baylor.

2. UCF (-2½) Bounces Back With Win Over Florida
When I wrote about this game earlier in the week, Florida opened as a slight favorite over UCF. Now, it is the Knights who have emerged as the favorite.
This is one of those games worth monitoring college football news in terms of players who could potentially redshirt in the days leading up to the game. UCF head coach Gus Malzahn revealed that so far no Knights players have requested out.

With Florida’s season leaving a lot to be desired, it is worth watching to see if any Gators players sit out the rest of the season. UCF looked vulnerable against Colorado with the Buffs exploiting the team’s weakness on defense.
This Florida offense is not comparable to Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado unit. This is a big rivalry game for UCF, and I like the Knights to cover ATS versus the Gators in the college football odds.

3. Arizona State (-3) Covers ATS Versus Kansas
Kansas continues to be on the struggle bus despite being viewed as a potential Big 12 sleeper during the preseason. The 1-4 Jayhawks’ lone win came back in August versus Lindenwood.
Arizona State sustained its first loss of the season in a 30-22 defeat to Texas Tech. The Sun Devils had a bye week to prepare for Kansas.
There is still more to like about Arizona State than Kansas, especially on offense. Take Arizona State to cover the spread versus Kansas in your college football predictions.
