The college football odds are looking particularly juicy for several underdogs in Week 4. We’re going to highlight four dogs who have a chance to pull off the upset.

For the more conservative bettors, you can simply bet these underdogs to cover the spread. Those looking for a greater return will want to hit the moneyline for a plus ROI.
Here’s a look at my best college football underdogs to bet this week.
Bet These 4 Underdog ATS Bets in Week 4
1. Georgia Tech (+10) Should Surprise Untested Louisville
Okay, so we need to admit that Georgia Tech’s win versus that dumpster fire of a team in Tallahassee does not look quite as good now as it did in Week 0. This Yellow Jackets team is still going to outperform preseason expectations, even if Tech falls short of competing for the ACC title.
On the other side enters Louisville, which has a number next to its name. Yet, a quick Google search shows the No. 19 Cardinals have yet to face a power conference opponent with wins over Austin Peay and Jacksonville State.

Georgia Tech at least has wins over Florida State and a Georgia State team that just upset Vanderbilt. Louisville is a 10-point favorite versus Georgia Tech in the NCAAF lines. The Jackets are a live dog in this matchup, and quarterback Haynes King has what it takes for Georgia Tech to pull off the upset.
2. Ignore Dylan Raiola Hype, Bet Illinois (+7½) at Nebraska
I realize we are anointing Dylan Raiola as the next Patrick Mahomes, even though the Chiefs quarterback has as many Super Bowl rings as the Nebraska freshman has starts. Our BetUS sportsbook has Nebraska as a 7½-point favorite versus Illinois on Friday.
Dylan Raiola might do the Mahomes ritual more accurately than Mahomes

Don’t look now, but the Fighting Illini have also started the season 3-0 with far less hype. Illinois’ biggest achievement to date is a win over Kansas. The Illini have a quarterback of their own in Luke Altmyer.
My fear is that we might be overvaluing Nebraska just a bit after its hot start. Illinois coach Bret Bielema should have Nebraska on upset alert.

3. JMU (+10½) a Live Dog vs North Carolina
A quick question for the crowd: What has North Carolina done this season to deserve to be favored by 10½ against anyone? The TLDR version of the Tar Heels’ season includes a two-point win over Minnesota followed by victories against Charlotte and NC Central.
Not exactly a resume that makes you a contender for the College Football Playoff. James Madison is no stranger to upsetting ACC teams with a win over Virginia in 2023.
Don’t be surprised if the Dukes live up to their bulldog mascot as a live dog in Week 4. James Madison is a nice ATS online betting lottery ticket versus UNC.
4. Can Arizona State (+3) Expose Texas Tech?
It is anyone’s guess how good Texas Tech is this season. Here’s what we do know – Texas Tech needed an overtime thriller to defeat Abilene Christian in Week 1. The Red Raiders followed this up with a 37-16 blowout loss to Washington State.
Count me skeptical of Texas Tech even after a 66-21 win over North Texas. Arizona State is not North Texas.
The Sun Devils are coming off an impressive win at Texas State, which looks like one of the best non-power conference teams in the country. Arizona State also has wins over Mississippi State and Wyoming.
How can you not love Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham 🔱

The Sun Devils enter this matchup as the more tested team and might be the better squad despite being a 3-point underdog in the NCAA odds.
