Which team will get their 2022 season started off on the right foot and cash for those who betonline?

Let’s check the latest NCAAF picks, stats, injury reports and NCAAF odds for Cincinnati vs Arkansas. We’ve plenty of NCAAF predictions for you to consider.

Cincinnati: Tough Encore

The Cincinnati Bearcats became the first Group of Five team (from a non-Power Five conference) to make the College Football Playoff last season.

In the offseason, they sent nine players to the NFL Draft. For a school outside the traditional college football power structure, that is extraordinarily impressive. Now the Bearcats try to reload and make yet another run at the big prize.

Quarterback Desmond Ridder is gone, so head coach Luke Fickell has had to replace not only his signal-caller, but also his offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock, who went to LSU.

Losing “Sauce” Gardner at cornerback is a particularly big loss, given his lofty place on the NFL Draft board.

There are a lot of important players to replace, and this first game will tell us exactly where the Bearcats stand in terms of how developed and polished their new crop of players is.

Arkansas: On Rise

The Arkansas Razorbacks are making dramatic progress. In 2020, they won three games. Last year, they won nine and won a bowl game. Coach Sam Pittman has transformed this program in a very short period of time.

With a lot of key pieces coming back, the Hogs hope that they can take the next step, which means winning at least 10 games and going to a prestigious New Year’s Six bowl game.

The biggest reason to be bullish on Arkansas in 2022 is that quarterback K.J. Jefferson and four of his starting offensive linemen return.

That’s a lot of continuity and a very small degree of disruption and turnover on the roster. With so much experience up front, Arkansas’ offense should be better than last season.

As long as the defense can maintain its 2021 standard, the team should improve. If the defense can improve, this team will have a great chance to win 10 games and cash for your college football picks in Week 1.

Cincinnati vs Arkansas Injury Report

Cincinnati vs Arkansas Prediction

Both teams have an experienced offensive line, but Arkansas has the returning starting quarterback. That is a huge difference between the two teams and one of the main reasons why they’re a favorite in the NCAAF betting lines.

Given that Cincinnati loses a number of key defensive starters, Arkansas’ offense has to feel good about its ability to score.

The Hogs have the clear edge and should win by 10.
