College Football Parlay Picks: 3 Underdogs to Bet on Week 14

It’s the final full week of the college football season, so we’re looking for some upset picks to put into a parlay for a nice payout. Teams are trying to either qualify for a bowl game or improve their resume to get a better bowl destination, so games are going to be highly contested.

Check out our three picks of moneyline upsets and put them into a parlay of college football predictions to make your weekend a winning one.

College Football Parlay Picks: 3 Underdog Bets

1. Rutgers Moneyline (+107)

The Michigan State Spartans need a win this weekend to become bowl eligible under first-year head coach Jonathan Smith. But they’re going to be facing a hungry Rutgers Scarlet Knights squad after it blew a game late against Illinois last week. And at these NCAAF odds, they’re hard to overlook this weekend.

The Scarlet Knights were seconds away from having a three-game winning streak, but the Illini came up with a miracle fourth-down play as time ran out to win the game.

Running back Kyle Monangai has played well since returning from a month out due to injury, going for 97 yards and two touchdowns against Maryland two weeks ago, then rushing for 122 yards against the Illini. The senior rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown in last year’s win over the Spartans after going for 162 yards against MSU as a sophomore.

Michigan State was able to hold off a Purdue rally last week to get to five wins on the season. Quarterback Aidan Chiles has looked good at times this season, but he’s also prone to turnovers, throwing 11 of them. He’s avoided a pick in the last two games but look for at least one in this one with the pressure on to come up big and get to a bowl game.

Monangai has a big game as the Scarlet Knights end the Spartans’ season with a road win. Make Rutgers the first choice for college football picks and parlays this week.

Bet This Pick: Rutgers (+107)

2. West Virginia Moneyline (+129)

Last week, we had the West Virginia Mountaineers as one of our upset picks, and they came through, knocking off UCF. We’re going back to the well again this week, with the Mountaineers heading on the road to face the explosive Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Texas Tech has dropped three of its last five games, but it did get a victory last week, outscoring Oklahoma State 56-48. Quarterback Behren Morton had a big game, throwing for 401 yards and four touchdowns in the victory.

But beating the Cowboys, who are winless in conference play, and beating the Mountaineers are two different tasks. West Virginia does need to tighten things up against the pass, as it ranks 14th in the Big 12, giving up 260.7 yards per game.

The Mountaineers have some offense, though, led by quarterback Garrett Greene. The senior is a dual threat, passing for 1,707 yards and 12 touchdowns while also running for 649 yards and five scores.

West Virginia will try to keep Tech off the field with its running game, which also features a pair of 600-yard running backs in Jahiem White (693 yards, six TDs) and CJ Donaldson Jr. (621 yards, nine TDs), who led the charge last week with 96 yards and two scores against the Knights.

This won’t be as high-scoring of a game as you might expect, with the Mountaineers pulling off the upset on the road. Make sure to include West Virginia in your parlay when doing your college football betting this Saturday.

3. South Carolina Moneyline (+129)

We made the South Carolina Gamecocks taking down the Clemson Tigers our pick for the Upset of the Week this week, so let’s include them in our underdog parlay as well. Both teams are ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings, with South Carolina sitting at No. 15 and Clemson at No. 12.

That puts some added importance on this annual in-state rivalry, with both teams hoping to be included in the 12-team playoff field when the rankings come out next Sunday.

South Carolina has been hot, winning five straight coming into this one, including upsets of ranked opponents Missouri and Texas A&M. The Gamecocks have also played LSU and Alabama close this season, so there is plenty of experience playing well as an underdog.

Quarterback LaNorris Sellers has been throwing the ball well of late, going over 300 yards passing in each of the last two games. He had 353 yards and five touchdowns in an upset of Missouri two weeks ago, followed by 307 yards and three scores against Wofford last week.

Clemson hasn’t had the same level of competition as South Carolina has, earning just one of its nine wins this season against a team that currently has a winning record. The Tigers are going to have some trouble containing the Gamecocks in this one, leading to a very competitive game.

We like South Carolina’s experience playing against better teams to be the main factor in it pulling the upset in this one. Bank on the Gamecocks making some college football news by knocking off the Tigers on Saturday.
