3 Legs to Bet for Week 11 NCAAF Parlay

1. BYU Stays Perfect With Big Rivalry Win

It’s been awhile since the No. 9 BYU Cougars were flirting with a perfect regular season and a possible chance at a national title, but as leaders of the Big 12, they were in the top four seeds of the initial College Football Playoff rankings this week. But they now face a Utah Utes team that could salvage a disappointing campaign by knocking off a longtime rival.

Utah has had senior quarterback Cam Rising played in just two-plus games and is done for the year. Without him, the Utes have gone back and forth between Isaac Wilson and Brandon Rose as signal caller, and coach Kyle Whittingham isn’t naming a starter for this week’s contest, showing a little gamesmanship against a rival. Monitor college football news for any updates.

BYU doesn’t have that problem as junior Jake Retzlaff has been leading the way for the Cougars all season. Retzlaff has 1,872 yards and 18 touchdowns passing while also rushing for 303 yards and three scores. It will be his first taste of the longtime rivalry, which is being renewed for the first time since 2021.

“It is cool to see the in-state stuff for me,” Retzlaff said. “The Bama rivalry. The USC rivalry. BYU (vs. Utah) falls into that category. The Pac-12 is obviously something I watched a lot of growing up. The in-state rivalries make it so fun because they are really up the street. So it is important.”

It’s more important for the Cougars, who are atop the Big 12 standings with the only perfect conference record among the league’s 16 teams. Winning the conference title would set up BYU nicely in the College Football Playoff, so beating the Utes is more than just an in-state rivalry victory this week.

We see the Cougars escaping unscathed on Saturday night in our NCAA football picks, so back BYU to get the victory and stay perfect on the season.

2. Iowa State Bounces Back From Upset Loss

The reason BYU is the only undefeated team in the Big 12 is because the Iowa State Cyclones suffered their first loss last weekend, falling to Texas Tech at home. The Cyclones obviously still have a shot at a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game and the possible automatic berth into the College Football Playoff, but they can’t afford any more slip-ups.

That’s bad news for the Kansas Jayhawks, who have not lived up to expectations and come into this game with a 2-6 record. Quarterback Jalon Daniels has thrown for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns, but he has nine interceptions and is going to be facing one of the toughest defenses in the country on Saturday.

According to Iowa State vs Kansas stats, the Cyclones are holding opponents to just 15.5 points per game – ninth in the country – and are tied for third in the nation with 14 interceptions. Iowa State will be looking to take advantage of Daniels’ poor decision-making and turn the game on defense.

This will also not be a true home game for the Jayhawks. Kansas’ home field, David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, is going through renovations, so this game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

It’s hard to fathom Kansas being able to hand Iowa State its second straight loss, and we expected the college football lines to be even more in favor of the Cyclones. Add an ISU win in this one to your favorites parlay.

3. Georgia Wins Shootout With Ole Miss

The Georgia Bulldogs have been winning yet again this season, and enter this week with a 7-1 mark and the No. 3 spot in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. But Georgia hasn’t been the dominant force it has been in recent seasons, with its only true blowouts of the season coming in the first two games against Clemson and Tennessee Tech.

Now the Bulldogs hit the road to face an Ole Miss Rebels squad that can light up the scoreboard. Coach Lane Kiffin’s squad put 63 points on the board against Arkansas last week and is averaging 42.1 points, good for fourth in the country.

Senior quarterback Jaxson Dart is putting up fantastic numbers, throwing for 3,210 yards and 21 touchdowns with only three interceptions. He had 515 yards and six touchdowns last week against Arkansas.

But the key in this one will be whether Dart has time to pick apart the Georgia secondary. In the Rebels’ two losses this season, to LSU and Kentucky, Dart was sacked six and four times, respectively. In the team’s seven wins? Dart was sacked eight times total.

Georgia has recorded 20 sacks as a team this season, and the Bulldogs’ secondary isn’t going to allow Dart to get passes off quickly. The Bulldogs haven’t been as sharp on both sides of the ball as in years past, but they’ll have enough to get it done on Saturday. Finish up your college football parlays picks of favorites Georgia to beat Ole Miss.
