College Football Picks and Parlay for Week 13: Missouri, Iowa Must-Bets

It’s that time of year when bowl eligibility is on the line for a number of teams. Others are fighting for a better bowl destination while still others are holding out hope for making the College Football Playoff.

Most teams that are favored this week have something still to play for while their opponents may not. We’ve found three favorites that you should put into a parlay at BetUS Sportsbook for a big win.

3 Legs to Bet for Week 13 NCAAF Parlay

1. Texas Tech Keeps Oklahoma State Winless In Big 12

The Texas Tech Red Raiders have already won six games and earned bowl eligibility, but with three losses in their last four games, there is still work to be done. If Texas Tech wants a cushy destination for a bowl, it needs wins in its last two games.

First on the docket is the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who have yet to win in Big 12 play this season. Per Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State betting trends, the Cowboys have lost seven in a row after a 3-0 start and have fallen by 10 points or more in each of their last three setbacks.

Can Mike Gundy get his team to put up a fight against the Red Raiders? Not likely. The Cowboys are allowing 258.8 passing yards per game, the third-worst average in the Big 12, and they’re facing the No. 3 passing offense in the conference in the Red Raiders, who throw for 281.7 yards per contest.

Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton must be licking his chops for this game. The junior already has 2,575 yards and 21 touchdowns through the air this season. He’ll be more comfortable than he was against Colorado two weeks ago, when the Buffaloes sacked him seven times.

The Cowboys allow 31.9 points per game, with their last six opponents scoring 38 points or more. Look for Texas Tech to roll in this one, making this the first of our college football picks for our favorites parlay.

2. Missouri Gets Well On Road vs Mississippi State

No. 23 Missouri hasn’t fared well on the road this season, going 1-3 with the only victory against Massachusetts. But the Tigers will do better this week against a Mississippi State squad that has just two wins on the season.

The Bulldogs have just one win over their last nine games, and that was against the Minutemen. Mississippi State has had a week off since its last loss, Nov. 9 vs Tennessee, but that’s not going to help in this one.

Quarterback Brady Cook returned from injury to lead Missouri against South Carolina last week. The Tigers fell despite Cook’s 237 yards and one touchdown passing. He should find the going a little easier this week against a pitiful Bulldogs defense.

Looking at the Missouri vs Mississippi State stats, the Bulldogs are last in the SEC in scoring defense (34.4 points allowed per game) and total defense (460.8 yards allowed per game). The lack of ability to stop opponents has made the Bulldogs play from behind almost immediately in nearly every game.

The Tigers get well and notch their eighth win of the season with a walkover against Mississippi State this week. Add this to your parlay when you bet online.

3. Iowa Shuts Down Maryland for Big Ten Win

Iowa had been on a roll defensively prior to a road loss to UCLA two weeks ago. In the previous two games – wins over Northwestern and Wisconsin – the Hawkeyes had given up a total of 24 points. But against the Bruins, they allowed 20 in falling for the second time in four games.

Coach Kirk Ferentz’s squad should be back to itself defensively this week against a Maryland squad that has struggled in conference play. The Terrapins have just one victory against a Big Ten opponent this season, nipping USC by one point at home on Oct. 19.

Maryland’s last three games have not been close, falling by at least 14 points in each. Quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. has thrown at least one interception in his last five games, and now he faces the Hawkeyes, who are tied for ninth in the country with 14 interceptions.

Offensively, Iowa has one of the top running backs in the country in Kaleb Johnson, who is -501 to score a touchdown this week in NCAAF player prop odds. The junior is tied for third in the country with 1,328 yards on the ground, piling up 20 touchdowns in the process. He’s coming off a subpar 49-yard performance against UCLA, so you know he’s ready to make up for that in this one.

Look for Iowa to roll behind Johnson, completing our college football predictions for a favorites parlay.

Bet on Texas Tech (-165), Missouri (-285) and Iowa (-240)
