After a bit of a tough Week 2 in the SEC predictions, we bounced back by going 3-0 in Week 3. In bigger NCAA football news, Georgia trailed at Kentucky heading into the fourth quarter, Heisman Trophy front-runner Quinn Ewers of Texas was injured in a win over UTSA and Alabama looked like a title contender in a win at Wisconsin.

Alabama, Georgia and Texas are among the seven remaining undefeated teams in the SEC while Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas remain perfect against the college football spread.

Oklahoma is at home against Tennessee in the Sooners’ first SEC game, The visiting Volunteers are favored to win the matchup of Top 25 teams. It could be the best of four SEC vs SEC matchups in Week 4.

Texas leapfrogged Georgia to take over the top spot in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll with SEC teams holding down six of the top seven positions in the rankings.

When looking at the NCAA football futures odds, seven of the top 12 teams in the odds of winning the national championship hail from the SEC.

Let’s take a look at some of the bets to consider as eight SEC teams are home favorites in Week 4.

Top 3 SEC Bets for Week 4

1. Tennessee to Cover as 7-Point Favorite at Oklahoma

Tennessee is 6-3 both outright and against the NCAA football spread in its last nine games as a road favorite.

Oklahoma hasn’t been an underdog at home since 2016. That didn’t go very well with the Sooners falling to Ohio State 45-24. Before that, the last time the Sooners entered a home game as the underdog was in 2000, so this is some new territory for Oklahoma as the Sooners play their first SEC game after years in the Big 12.

After barely getting by Houston in Week 2, Oklahoma only led visiting Tulane by five points midway through the fourth quarter last week.

Tennessee’s only matchup against a ranked team this season was a 51-10 win over North Carolina State in Charlotte. We are not expecting a similar margin of victory on Saturday, but look for Tennessee to take care of business as the seven-point favorite in the Volunteers‘ first true road game of the season.

2. Arkansas-Auburn Clash to Go Under 56½Points

The offensive numbers look pretty good so far this season for both Arkansas and Auburn. It helps that Arkansas put 70 points up on Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the season opener and had 37 more last week against UAB. Auburn scored 73 points in a matchup with Alabama A&M and had 45 more against visiting New Mexico.

In Auburn’s lone game this season against a team from a power conference, the Tigers managed just 286 yards and 14 points in a loss to California.

Although the last five games between the Tigers and the Razorbacks landed under the total, it is hard to overlook the fact that Auburn was ninth and Arkansas 12th out of 14 teams in scoring offense in SEC play a season ago.

With the sports betting odds setting the total at 56½, consider taking the under in this matchup.

3. Florida vs Mississippi State Game Will Land Under 58½-Point Total

The good news is that somebody will have to win when Florida travels to meet Mississippi State on Saturday.

If the underachieving Gators fail to seal the deal as a six-point road favorite, will beleaguered head coach Billy Napier be able to return to Gainesville?

For as much of a grind it has been for Napier and the Gators, at least Florida is not coming off a 24-point loss at home to Toledo, as is the case with Mississippi State.

There are many frightening numbers to crunch through three games for the Gators and the Bulldogs, but none stick out more than the fact that they are ahead of only Kentucky for the fewest trips into the red zone among SEC teams.

The BetUS sportsbook odds have set the total at 58.5 and we like the game to fall under that number.
