College football action continues on Saturday and we have picked five of the best betting games for totals’ bettors.
Featured in our picks are Kentucky vs South Carolina, Notre Dame vs Wisconsin, Boise State vs Utah, UCLA vs Stanford and Louisville vs Florida State.
The sportsbook has odds available for all the major games, and there is good money to be made betting totals.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs Wisconsin Badgers
Saturday, Sept. 25, 12 pm ET
Over/Under: 46½
Not many points are expected to come from Notre Dame and Wisconsin, which is why college football lines have set a low total of 46½.
It’s a low number, but based on what we have seen so far, it should be a defensive game. Wisconsin is averaging 22 points per game and allowing just 11.5, so the Badgers are focused on defense.
Notre Dame is a higher scoring team at 33.3 points per game, but it hasn’t played a top-level defensive team yet. We think Notre Dame quarterback Jack Coan will struggle against the Badgers defense, which could result in numerous turnovers.
Hoping for a 26-20 game isn’t easy, but we think the under is the best play. Drives should be lengthy and they could end in a field goal try. These teams are used to grinding out tight victories, and we don’t think they’ll be airing the ball out too much.
Pick: Under 46½ (-110)
Boise State Broncos vs Utah State Aggies
Saturday, Sept. 25, 12 p.m. ET
Over/Under: 70
Boise State and Utah State are high-scoring teams, but we think college football odds are in our favor.
The total is 70 points, which is too high. Boise State averages 35 points and Utah State 41, but the Aggies have scored the majority of their points against lesser teams.
They scored 26 points in the opening round win against Washington State before beating North Dakota and Air Force. The last two games aren’t accurate representations of the offense, and it will be harder against Boise State.

The Broncos allowed only 21 points against Oklahoma State last week, scoring just 20 themselves. They also scored only 31 points against UCF, so we think this game goes comfortably under the total.
The final score should be around 33-30, which gives bettors seven points to play with.
Pick: Under 70 (-110)
Louisville Cardinals vs Florida State Seminoles
Saturday, Sept. 25, 3:30 p.m. ET
Over/Under: 62½
Bet online markets have the total at 62½, which isn’t surprising based on Louisville’s 42-35 win over UCF last week.
It was an offensive explosion from a Cardinals team that scored only 24 points in their opening loss to Ole Miss. They were also poor on defense, allowing UCF to score 35 points, so we could see another high-scoring affair.
“We wanted to have a lot of energy more than to be physical and all that,” Louisville coach Scott Satterfield told ESPN. “We just wanted to be able to fly around and play hard because we knew it was going to be a hard-fought game.”
Florida State is 0-3 and a shadow of its former self. It lost the opening game 41-38 to Notre Dame before losing to Jacksonville State and Wake Forest. The last two losses were terrible, scoring just 31 points combined.
Despite Florida State’s lack of offense, we think it will be a high-scoring game. Bookmakers have Louisville at just -2 in points spread markets, so they’re expecting a much better effort from the home side.
That could result in plenty of points and a lack of defense.
Pick: Over 62½ (-110)
UCLA Bruins vs Stanford Cardinal
Saturday, Sept. 25, 6 p.m. ET
Over/Under: 58½
Offense should be at a premium when the Bruins and Cardinal meet on Saturday.
Stanford has scored 83 points from its last two games, including a 42-28 win over nationally-ranked USC.

UCLA can also pile on the points. It scored 38 when beating LSU 38-27 before losing to Fresno 40-37 last week.
We are surprised the total isn’t higher as we’re expecting a 38-35 scoreline. That sees the over hit with ease, so we’re confident of adding it to our college football totals parlay.
Pick: Over 58½ (-110)
Kentucky Wildcats vs South Carolina Gamecocks
Saturday, Sept. 25, 7 p.m. ET
Over/Under: 48½
The line is much shorter than we predicted, so we’re confident on the over 48½ hitting.
Kentucky is averaging 36 points per game and South Carolina 26.3, so there is another offense to see the total soar over the mark.
Bookmakers are respecting the defense of both teams, which is excellent. However, Kentucky allowed 28 points against Missouri and 23 points against Chattanooga, so it’s hardly a formidable unit.
South Carolina allowed 40 points against Georgia last start, and although the Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country, it shows the fragilities of the defense.
We see this game being won in the final quarter of what should be a high scoring contest.
Pick: Over 48½ (-110)
