This matchup features plenty of star power with Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and Tahj Brooks. Yet, the real value may be on the supporting cast for each team. Colorado coach Deion Sanders believes his team is approaching this matchup as a playoff game given the Buffs still can win the Big 12.
“Every game is a playoff game to us. It’s been that way all season,” Coach Prime said, per 9 News. “I think Shedeur (Sanders) made a comment early … that every game we play is like a darn Super Bowl to people, not only to them, but to us, and it is. That’s the way we’re going into it.
“Every game is a playoff, a single-elimination tournament. We’re planning on approaching all of them with passion, with purpose, with consistency, with focus and a dog-like attitude.”
Here’s a look at my best prop bets to take in the Colorado-Texas Tech matchup.
Bet These 4 Props in Colorado vs Texas Tech
1. Colorado WR Jimmy Horn Over 36.5 Receiving Yards
It is not just Travis Hunter, the No. 2 favorite in the Heisman Trophy odds, who is a playmaker for Colorado. Shedeur Sanders has a plethora of additional weapons, including Jimmy Horn.
The wideout posted five receptions for 78 yards in Colorado’s win over Cincinnati. Take the over on Horn’s receiving yards.
Bet on Jimmy Horn Over 36.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
2. Texas Tech RB Tahj Brooks Under 124.5 Rushing Yards
There is little doubt that Tahj Brooks is one of the best running backs in college football. Yet, the Colorado defensive line is finishing the season strong.
The Texas Tech running back has not topped 124 yards in two straight games. Earlier this season, we saw Colorado hold UCF star running back RJ Harvey to 77 rushing yards.
Bet online on the under for Brooks’ rushing yards.
Bet on Tahj Brooks Under 124.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
3. Colorado Star Travis Hunter to Score Touchdown
Travis Hunter feels as famous as a Kelce brother which means many of his College Football lines are inflated. Taking Hunter to score an anytime touchdown offers little value at -200.

It does not help that Hunter has already scored eight touchdowns this season. One workaround is to take Hunter to score the first TD of the game.
Some sportsbooks offer as high of a return as +600 for this bet.
Bet on Travis Hunter Anytime TD Scorer (-200)

4. Colorado RB Isaiah Augustave to Score a TD
The Colorado rushing attack started out more confusing than a Wes Anderson film. It seemed a different running back toted the rock each week.
A few weeks later, it looks like Isaiah Augustave has carved out a legitimate role for himself. Over the last two weeks, Augustave has had a combined 36 carries for 144 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

Augustave has had a touchdown in three straight games. We’l take the Buffs running back to keep the streak going by snagging the anytime touchdown in our college football predictions.
Bet on Isaiah Augustave Anytime TD (-143)
