Oops, we did it again. We cashed another underdog parlay ticket last week. While we can go for a hat trick, we’re instead looking for the best NCAAF odds to pair with some big fights. This is not the three-dog parlay but this can still yield a tidy profit. And just because we’re not going all dogs, doesn’t mean we don’t have one.

My 3 Best Cross-Sports Weekend Parlay Picks

1. NCAAF: Texas Shuts Down Georgia

Is No. 1 Texas truly back? Only one way to find out: it has to beat No. 5 Georgia at home, which is the Longhorns’ first test this season. No. 1 Texas has made mincemeat out of every overmatched opponent. It has held opponents to 13 points and under. Its wins have been by 19+ points. And it faces the vulnerable Bulldogs with injuries and an “okay” offense.

This is not the same Georgia team that was bidding for a “three-peat” a year ago. Since losing to Alabama last season, the Georgia Bulldogs have been in disarray. They’ve only covered two of their last seven games and only once this season. The running game, which is a Bulldog specialty, is ranked 96th in the nation (131.6 yards per game) while their yards per play is 31st (6.65).

If Georgia did not have its championship pedigree, the college football spread would be much wider here. As it stands, we’ll gladly lay the points on Texas at -5. The public seems to feel the same as they have moved the line in its favor. Parlay Texas against the spread before the line moves further.

Bet This Pick: Texas -5 (-110)

2. PFL: Ferreira Stuns Ngannou

Renan Ferreira has finally earned some respect judging by his PFL MMA odds. The world champion stands 6-foot-8 and has an 85-inch reach, the longest among high-level fighters. He hits like a truck but moves like a lightweight, similar to a former Francis Ngannou opponent: Ciryl Gane. We saw how that Frenchman gave Ngannou fits. Thus, Ferreira can shock the world.

The Brazilian has one-punch knockout power. He’s starched his last four opponents with three coming in the first round – two in the first minute. Fair play, Ngannou is a big man at 6-foot-4 with an iron chin. Ferreira may not finish him with his first clean shot, but the underdog is also more versed in grappling.

Ferreira is a grappler and trains with the Nogueira brothers. And he can threaten Ngannou with his grappling, which can make the multi-millionaire boxer more hesitant to engage. On top of that, Ngannou is coming off a brutal KO loss to Anthony Joshua and has not trained MMA full-time since 2022. This fight favors Ferreira so we’ll parlay him at underdog odds in MMA lines.

Bet This Pick: Renan Ferreira (+170)

3. Boxing: Tszyu Takes it out on Murtazaliev

Tim Tszyu is pissed. The former champion is coming off a controversial defeat to Sebastian Fundora due to a cut. This same injury cost him a high-profile bout with Vergil Ortiz Jr. Hence, it’s a solid bet online on Tszyu to take out his anger on Bakhram Murtazaliev. This is a huge step up for the unbeaten Russian, who is 22-0 but with few notable victories.

Murtazaliev is a young 31 and is technically proficient. So we expect him to hang with Tszyu while he’s fresh. But Tszyu will break him down over eight rounds and finish him. It won’t be a one-punch knockout but more of a beatdown, as Tszyu did to Tony Harrison. We can parlay Tszyu at -650 but this will barely move the needle. And Tszyu could get cut again.

Thus, the best bet here will be for the total to go under 10.5 rounds. This fight will not make it to the championship rounds as Tszyu will finish Murtazaliev in the middle rounds. And if Murtazaliev does “TKO” Tszyu via a cut, it could happen by round 10. This is the best cross-sport parlay pick for this match.

Bet This Pick: Murtazaliev, Tszyu Under 10.5 (-125)

Questions Of The Day

What are the best MMA odds to parlay?

You can parlay the moneyline or totals from most MMA fights.

Can you cash parlays consistently?

Parlays are sometimes called “sucker bets” because they lose more than they win. But depending on your parlay’s odds, you can still profit.
