Florida State vs Miami NCAAF Predictions: Top Picks and Odds for 10/26

The over looks to be a good online bet when the sixth-ranked Miami Hurricanes host the struggling Florida State Seminoles on Saturday.
Miami is second in the nation in scoring (48.3), but its defense has been welcoming enough to make its last three wins nail-biters. The Hurricanes allowed 117 points in those victories and had to rally in two of them.
It would be a monumental upset if Florida State shocked Miami on Saturday, but the Seminoles could have a chance to beat the spread if they can contain the Miami offense just a bit as a 21-point underdog.
The over number, currently set at 54 ½, is where the action may be at the sportsbook.
The questions that must be answered are how much the Florida State offense can come together and what adjustments Miami’s defense makes? Get those NCAA football predictions right, and you can line up at the pay window.

Top 3 Florida State vs Miami Betting Tips
1. Bet ACC Clash to Go Over
Miami will get its points against the rival Seminoles. The over/under sport bets will depend on how much the Hurricanes give up.
Virginia Tech scored 34 points versus the Hurricanes and had an apparent winning Hail Mary touchdown overturned. Cal registered 38 points before allowing Miami to roar back. Louisville put up 45 on the Hurricanes last week.
Florida State may have to get to 14-17 points on Saturday to help over bettors cash in. The Seminoles have not scored 20 points since their opener, but they outgained Duke 291-180 last week in a 23-16 defeat.
Coach Mike Norvell used both Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek at quarterback last week and the Seminoles rushed for 162 yards.
This was a fun run from Brock Glenn to move the chains on 4th&9.

Florida State is 6-1 for under bettors and over bettors are 6-0-1 with Miami. Something has to give. We expect the Seminoles get enough done to push the score to 44-14 or 38-16 in our college football picks.

2. Hurricanes ATS Pick Versus Rival
Miami has been nearly unstoppable on offense this season. The only thing that has slowed the Hurricanes are turnovers.
Cam Ward leads the nation in passing yards (2,538) and touchdown passes (24), but has thrown five picks. Ward, a Washington State transfer, is still one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy at +225 in the NCAAF futures odds.

One of the reasons Ward is a good bet is the weapons around him. The Hurricanes average 5.6 yards per carry on the ground with good depth in the running back room.
Four receivers have at least 333 yards receiving and have combined for 16 TDs. Xavier Restrepo leads Miami with 39 catches for 686 yards and six scores while Isaiah Horton boasts 34 for 412.
The talent on offense and the chance to kick a rival when it is down should help the Hurricanes beat the large college football spread (21).
3. Make Small Bet on Canes To Win It All
Miami has one thing championship teams need. The Hurricanes can score.
That seems to be more important when you are betting on college football these days. Defenses need to make big plays and find a way to get a few stops when needed.
That will be the challenge for Miami’s defensive coaches. The Hurricanes have 23 sacks and 10 interceptions, but just give up too much yardage. If Miami can improve a little on defense, a bet for it to win the NCAA title at +1600 college football lines is worthy.
But perhaps you pad your bank roll first by taking the Hurricanes at +130 odds to win the ACC.
PICK: Miami to Win ACC Title (+130)
