Stanford’s first ACC game will not be an easy one as the Cardinal head across the country to face undefeated Syracuse in a Friday night affair at the JMA Wireless Dome.

The college football odds have Syracuse listed as the 8½-point favorite. One possible concern when looking at possible touchdown prop bets for the matchup is that five of the last eight times that Syracuse has been the home favorite, the game landed under the total.

Stanford did put up 41 points on Cal Poly in its most recent game. Things won’t be quite so easy for the Cardinal this week as Stanford has lost six of its last seven games against teams from the power conferences.

Gadsden has been making up for lost time. After having seven catches for 108 yards and a touchdown in a win over Ohio in the season opener, he had 93 yards on six receptions with a pair of TD grabs against Georgia Tech.

Gadsden’s 17-yard TD catch in the fourth quarter proved to be the winning score as he has wasted little time connecting with new Syracuse quarterback and Ohio State transfer Kyle McCord this season.

Gadsden could be a popular pick at -143 to score a touchdown in the college football prop bets options this weekend.

LeQuint Allen had six rushing touchdowns in his first four games for Syracuse during the 2023 season. It has been a different story so far this season.

Allen is the top running back for the Orange with 30 carries and 181 yards in wins over Ohio and Georgia Tech. However, his only touchdown this season has come as a pass receiver. The +136 odds for Allen to have at least 36 receiving yards could attract the attention of those who bet online.

Stanford has the top-rated rushing defense in the ACC this season, allowing just 64.5 yards per game. Those numbers are aided by the Cardinal limiting a Football Championship Subdivision Cal Poly team to 25 yards on 20 carries.
