Georgia vs Florida Picks: Bet Gators ATS and Over 11/2
- After routing Texas at home last weekend Georgia is ready to take down Florida on the road.
- Will Georgia’s defense be able to keep Florida from defying NCAA football lines?
- Florida´s offense hit all the right notes against Kentucky in its last game, scoring 48 points.
- BetUS Sportsbook shows Georgia as early 16-point favorites for this game.
The No. 2-ranked Georgia Bulldogs are ready to go at it once again with one of their most hated rivals, the Florida Gators, on Saturday in a game where Kirby Smart’s team is coming in as dominant college football odds favorites to win.
Coming into yet another edition of one of the most heated rivalries in the SEC, formerly known as the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party,” believe me when I tell you there’s nothing to toast for between both teams.
With Georgia riding a three-game winning streak, including a strong road victory against then-No. 1 Texas two weeks ago, and Florida coming off one of its most dominant performances in a 48-20 win over the Kentucky Wildcats, who’s taking the “W” in Jacksonville?

2 Best Georgia vs Florida Picks
1. Bet Gators ATS as Lagway Gives Georgia Secondary Hell
It’s been over a month since Georgia lost its first game by 41-34 to the Alabama Crimson Tide, thus breaking its perfect record. Since then, though, the Georgia Bulldogs have gotten right back to their usual dominance, taking down the likes of Auburn, Mississippi State and, most importantly, Texas.

It’s no wonder why Georgia is coming in as heavy 16-point favorites in the NCAAF betting spread. But is there really any juice to chase in taking the Bulldogs to cover? I would personally lean to the Gators keeping the score closer than 16 points, even in a losing effort, and here’s why.
Firstly, based solely on Georgia’s betting trends this season, this is a team that’s failed to cover in five of its seven games, meaning 71.4% of the Bulldogs’ matchups have seen the betting underdog cash.
Secondly, if you’ve been keeping up with Gators football, you know the combo of quarterback DJ Lagway and his trio of receivers – Elijhah Badger, Chimere Dike, and Eugene Wilson III – could hold the key to give Georgia’s shaky secondary a good scare. Oh and also, don’t forget about running back Jadan Baugh. Yes, that Jadan Baugh who put up five touchdowns on 22 carries for 106 yards against Kentucky two weeks ago.
I can understand why Georgia is the favorite to win. The Bulldogs have the better overall team. But to go from that to covering a 16-point spread? No, sorry, not buying it. Take Florida ATS in for NCAA football predictions.
College Football Pick: Florida +16
2. Bet The Georgia vs Florida Over If You Like High-Scoring Affairs
I’m keeping my second Georgia vs. Florida college football pick short and simple. Even if Georgia has gone under in the total in five of seven games this season, I’m looking to Florida to help the total go over on Saturday.
After scoring 48 points in their win against the Wildcats and putting up 45 points two other times this season, if the Florida Gators hit the field going for blood, they will make sure the scoreboard gets lit up with points.

Add to that Georgia’s offense not wanting to back down from a fight and what do you get? A high-scoring game that will delight fans and make NCAAF betting fans very happy – as long as they bet the over.
