‘Cats Lost…to Commodores
Things went about as badly as possible with Kentucky (6-4, \3-4) in its Week 11, 24-21 loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores. After a solid start to the season and gaining bowl eligibility, it fell apart against Vandy. Kentucky went an abysmal 4-of-12 on third downs and managed just 109 passing yards. We had faith in Kentucky, picking them to cover against what we saw as a terrible opponent. Our error was thinking UK belonged in the top 25 a bit longer.
Defense has some quality but won’t slow a top-five offense en route to a perfect season and a shot at holding on to its title. Kentucky offered its true colors against the Commodores, and lost all trust to cover against Georgia.
