The winner of the game will earn a bye into the quarterfinals in the College Football Playoffs while the loser will need to play in the first round just to get to the quarterfinals. There is a chance when looking at the NCAAF predictions that the teams could meet again in the CFP.

The college football spread has Texas favored by 3 points in the SEC title game with -140 odds to win the game outright as the Longhorns look to cap a memorable debut season in the SEC. Georgia has +140 odds to win the SEC title for the second time in the last three seasons. The total is set at 50.

Running backs Trevor Etienne, Branson Robinson and Chauncey Bowens are all listed as questionable for Georgia. Georgia coach Kirby Smart did not sound optimistic about Etienne being able to return to the field but Robinson might play. Check college football news for updates on their status.

Defensive back Derek Williams is out and offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. is questionable for Texas.

Here’s a look at some Georgia vs Texas prop picks in the SEC Championship Game. The matchup is set for 4 p.m. ET on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and will air on ABC.

3 Prop Bets for Georgia vs Texas

1. Texas RB Quintrevion Wisner Anytime TD

With 158 and 186 rushing yards in the last two games, it is safe to suggest that Texas running back Quintrevion Wisner is ready to rumble in the SEC title game. He will be a popular pick in the SEC championship prop bets.

Wisner was rather quiet in the first matchup with the Bulldogs as he rushed 15 times for 52 yards. He did have a season-high five receptions in the game.

While playing behind current NFL rookie Jonathan Brooks and classmate C.J. Baxter last season, Wisner only carried the ball 12 times as a freshman. He has been much busier this season as the No. 1 back for the Longhorns.

Wisner hasn’t found his way into the end zone very often this season with three TD runs and a touchdown reception. Still, the sports betting odds have some solid prop options for Wisner.

While there isn’t much value for Wisner at -251 to score 1+ touchdowns as a standalone bet, he could be part of a lucrative parlay when making Dec. 7 NCAAF picks.

Bet on Quintrevion Wisner to Score 1+ Touchdowns (-251)

2. Georgia RB Nate Frazier First TD Scorer

Nate Frazier was not a factor with 10 yards on four carries in the first matchup with the Longhorns. However, without Trevor Etienne seeing much action, Frazier averaged 16.4 carries and 76.6 rushing yards in the last five games. Per Georgia vs Texas stats, he has scored in each of those contests with seven scoring runs.

When making SEC championship picks, go with Frazier at +600 to score the first touchdown against Texas as Georgia looks to jump up on top early, as was the case when the teams met earlier this season.

3. Texas TE Gunnar Helm 46+ Receiving Yards

Gunnar Helm proved that he is not afraid of the bright lights as the Texas tight end’s first career touchdown came against a ranked Iowa State team in 2023.

He was pretty busy in the first game this season against Georgia with 62 yards on six catches. In his last seven games, Helm has 32 catches for 380 yards. Don’t be surprised to see Texas try to get Helm involved early.

When making Georgia vs Texas picks and predictions, go with Helm at -113 to have 46+ receiving yards.
