We had been giving out Hunter as a sleeper pick at the beginning of the season. You might have missed your window to bet Hunter, but that does not mean he isn’t going to be hoisting the trophy.

There is an unlikely scenario where Shedeur Sanders leads Colorado on a magic run, while Hunter potentially sustains an injury. Heisman voting comes after the conference championship weekend.

Let’s say Sanders strings together some explosive numbers in the Buffs’ final two regular season games. If Colorado wins out, Sanders will have a massive stage at Jerry’s World for the Big 12 Championship.

3. Miami QB Cam Ward Surges to ACC Title to Gain Ground on Travis Hunter
If someone is to catch Hunter, it makes the most sense that it would be a quarterback. What Hunter is doing is historic, but this award has gone to one of the top quarterbacks in recent history.
Cam Ward has made the most noise this season of any college football quarterback. Heading into Week 13, Ward has thrown for 3,494 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Ward has also added 182 rushing yards and 3 TDs on the ground.
What scenario does Ward win the Heisman? Ward keeps putting up video game numbers while leading Miami to an ACC title. Like we mentioned, voting concludes after the conference championship matchups.

Ward would also need something to happen with Hunter to gain ground. This feels a bit like Netflix relying on their servers during the Tyson-Paul fight.
We know this led to a lot of buffering, but every now and then we saw a punch thrown. Ward finally has nice value for NCAA football predictions at +1200.
