Kentucky vs Tennessee Predictions and Odds: Wildcats ATS and Under Best Bets 11/02
- I give you the two top Kentucky vs Tennessee predictions for Nov. 2.
- Coming off a bye week on a two-game win streak, Tennessee is ready to make it three.
- Kentucky has definitely seen better days, especially after losing their last three games.
- Kentucky vs Tennessee odds suggest a low-scoring game on Saturday.
Here’s a question for all you college football betting odds fanatics out there. What’s better than coming into a home game after a bye week? If you ask the Tennessee Volunteers, the answer is coming into a home game against the reeling Kentucky Wildcats after beating Alabama at home before said bye week.
As the Vols prepare to retake the field at Neyland Stadium, where they routed Alabama by 24-17 in their last appearance, it’s Kentucky’s turn to get a taste of what Tennessee is dishing out.
With the locals slated as heavy 16 ½ point favorites, will Tennessee be able to cover, or will Kentucky fight its way into making this a close SEC bout?

2 Top Kentucky vs Tennessee Picks to Bet This Saturday
1. Spread Too Large to Take Vols, Go With Wildcats Instead
Kentucky’s 2024 season has been something alright. From playing some really good football against high-ranked opponents like the Georgia Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels to getting their butts handed to them by the Florida Gators last week after losing to the Vanderbilt Commodores the week before, and before once again losing, this time against the Auburn Tigers last weekend, what’s the deal here?
How does a team fresh off a win against Ole Miss suddenly fall into such a tragic losing streak? For one, Kentucky’s offense hasn’t shown the ability to put points up on the board. Quarterback Brock Vandagriff has been a letdown this season, not offering any reassurance to his team’s passing game, even while there were big hopes for what he could do running the Wildcats’ offense.
And what about the team’s Offensive Coordinator, Bush Hamdan? The man was able to not only keep a vast majority of his talents but also bring in a slew of new players to deepen his arsenal further, only to fall flat.
We have a most disappointing award wrapped up in week 8……..
Most disappointing OC in 2024: Bush Hamdan, Kentucky
Kentucky brought in and retained so much talent in the off season. Hamdan has held all of it back.

Thankfully, the team’s defense has been showing up and showing out, trying to keep Kentucky from crashing and burning, besides the 48 points scored by Florida, of course. With strong, physical football, I’m putting my NCAAF pick for this game on the defense.
Tennessee’s offense hasn’t been showing that much power, either. It’s been getting through but not blowing opponents out of the field. And if there’s something Kentucky has shown us, it’s that, at least defensively, they can hang with the big boys, keeping Georgia to 13 points and Ole Miss to 17.
With a 16½ spread to cover, my college football prediction today isn’t for Tennessee to cover but for going with Kentucky ATS as they keep the score close.

2. A Bet on the Under Is the Best Deal for This Game
Honestly, I don’t see these teams beating the total slated for this game. Set at 45 ½ points, taking it over would be a great NCAAF bet if the two teams hitting the field weren’t so underwhelming on offense. But not these two. Not Tennessee or Kentucky.
I’m leaning toward this being a more defense-ridden game than anything else. Even if Tennessee’s passer Nico Iamaleava goes off and has an inspiring performance and can propel his team to light up the scoreboard, Kentucky won’t do the same.

If you don’t believe me, look back at Kentucky vs Tennessee betting trends. The under has hit in four of Tennessee’s seven and six of Kentucky’s eight games this season.
In short, taking Tennessee to win outright is the easiest bet you’ll find for this game. Going with Kentucky ATS is the smartest bet you’ll find. Lastly, taking the under in the total, here is the safest bet for Saturday.
