If the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl is as cool as its title sponsor, Saturday’s matchup between the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks and Colorado State Rams should be a fun game. The legendary rapper isn’t expected to be on hand in Tucson, but there should be a good football contest.
Miami (Ohio) is a three-point favorite at BetUS Sportsbook. The RedHawks are -140 on the moneyline while Colorado State is +120 for a straight-up win. The over/under has been set at 40½ points.
Neither of these teams is a veteran of bowl game appearances, with Miami (Ohio) playing for the first time since 2016 and Colorado State for the first time since 2017. That could lead to a lot of nerves for both teams, but it could also make for a fun contest.

2 Bets to Consider for Miami (Ohio) vs Colorado State
1. Miami (Ohio) -3
Outside of a MAC Championship Game performance to forget, Miami (Ohio) has been playing very well in the latter part of the season, especially on the defensive side of the ball. In their final three regular-season games, the RedHawks allowed a total of 28 points.
But that was overshadowed by a 38-3 loss to Ohio in which the Bobcats outgained the RedHawks, 467-189, and snapped a seven-game winning streak by Miami (Ohio).
Quarterback Brett Gabbert threw for just 127 yards and an interception in the setback, but he’s been very good this season. The senior has 2,737 yards and 21 touchdowns through the air.

He’ll need to return to form against the Rams, who ranked ninth in the Mountain West in pass defense, allowing 238.9 yards per game.
The Rams are going to have trouble containing the RedHawks’ attack in this one, leading to a Miami (Ohio) victory in Arizona. Bet online on the RedHawks giving the three points.

2. Miami (Ohio) vs Colorado State Over 40½
While the RedHawks can put up the points, so can the Rams. Though they ranked just seventh in the Mountain West with 25.0 points per game, the Rams are coming off a 42-point effort in a win over Utah State in their regular-season finale.
Sophomore quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi threw for 370 yards and four touchdowns in that game, his second straight 300-yard passing performance. A solid outing would provide value in NCAAF player prop picks.
Fowler-Nicolosi hasn’t been as proficient as he was last season, when he threw for 3,460 yards and 22 touchdowns, but his 2,475 yards and 13 touchdowns this season has also seen less than half as many interceptions thrown as well (16 in 2023, seven this season).
Per the Miami (Ohio) vs Colorado State stats, the Rams spread the ball around, with eight different players having between 11 and 36 receptions on the season. Wide receiver Jamari Person leads the way with 36 catches for 386 yards and a touchdown, including 10 for 125 yards in a loss to Fresno State in late November.
That kind of depth in the receiving corps is going to make it hard for Miami (Ohio) to focus on shutting just one player down. Colorado State will be able to move the ball and score some points, helping to push this game to the over.
For this bowl game, take the over for a win in your NCAA football picks.
Bet on Miami (Ohio) vs Colorado State Over 40½
