When looking at the college football odds, No. 8 Indiana could face the toughest test among the teams fighting for spots in the Big Ten title game with a matchup against visiting Michigan. The Week 11 Big Ten schedule begins on Friday as Iowa is favored on the road against UCLA.

Four of the six home teams – Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State and Oregon – are double-digit betting favorites.

For the second week in a row, USC kept us from a perfect 3-0 week in the Big Ten best bets. It might be time for those who bet online to stay away from the Trojans as USC went from being a potential title contender to a team fighting just to become bowl eligible. Thankfully, the Trojans don’t play in Week 11.

Four of the top 11 teams in our odds to win the NCAAF national championship are Big Ten programs. Oregon and Ohio State come in at No. 1 and 3 in the Associated Press poll and in the American Football Coaches Association poll.

Top 3 CFB Picks for Big Ten in Week 11

1. Bet Michigan Cover vs Undefeated Indiana

Michigan’s bid to win a second straight national title ended when the Wolverines dropped back-to-back games to Washington and Illinois. It isn’t often that the Wolverines look overmatched in Ann Arbor, but that was the case in Week 10 with top-ranked Oregon rolling to a 38-17 win.

It doesn’t get much easier as Michigan heads to face an undefeated Indiana team. It will take some searching to find the last time that the NCAA football lines favored Indiana against Michigan.

Here’s a notable Michigan vs Indiana betting trend: In last year’s game, the Wolverines were favored by more than 30 points. The Hoosiers are a 14½-point favorite in the rematch.

Despite Michigan’s fade from glory, this could still be the toughest test to date for the Hoosiers. Yes, Michigan lost plenty of talent along with head coach Jim Harbaugh to the NFL. However, there are still enough playmakers for the Wolverines to cover as a double-digit underdog.

Bet This Pick: Michigan (+14½) to cover versus Indiana

2. Ohio State Good Bet to Score Early vs Purdue

With a one-point loss to Illinois and an overtime defeat at the hands of Northwestern, Purdue probably deserves a better fate than being 0-5 in the Big Ten. However, that is the deal as the Boilermakers head into Columbus in a Week 11 game that could be a little ugly.

Ohio State found a way to edge rival Penn State once again, making college football news and solidifying a spot as a title contender.

There is still some work to do for Ohio State to overtake either Oregon or Indiana in the Big Ten standings. Before ending the regular season with games against Indiana and Michigan, the Buckeyes get to face teams with a combined record of 2-9 in Big Ten play.

Ohio State didn’t score its first points until late in the first quarter against Penn State. It figures to be a different story against the Boilermakers when looking at potential Big Ten predictions.

The first score in the Purdue-Ohio State game to come in the first five minutes (+125)

3. Penn State, Washington Could Get Their Kicks In

Penn State failed to deliver when the lights were the brightest. Even with the offense being rather offensive in a loss to Ohio State, the Nittany Lions are still very much in the running for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

The same can’t be said for a Washington program coming off a run to the national title game.

Taking Penn State at -525 in the sports betting odds to rebound with a win over the Huskies is one way for those who bet online to proceed. We are choosing a different option.

No Big Ten team has attempted more field goals this season than Washington. Meanwhile, Penn State is also not afraid to call upon kicker Ryan Barker as the first points in each of the last three games for the Nittany Lions have come courtesy of a field goal. That could be a good bet into include in NCAA picks and parlays.

The first points in the Penn State-Washington game will not come from a touchdown (+192)
