Let’s take a look at the top prop bets around the Big 12 in the Las Vegas odds.

Dillon Gabriel’s Opportunity for ‘Revenge’ Game

It is hard to call something a revenge game when Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel is the one who transferred away from UCF. Whatever you want to call it, Gabriel is going to be plenty motivated to stick it to his former team.

An added storyline here is Oklahoma offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby held the same role at UCF. Lebby was in the running to be the next Knights coach before Gus Malzahn ultimately landed the gig.

Gabriel and Lebby would love to put up points against UCF. The Knights’ defense has been abysmal against the run, and Gabriel is coming off 113 rushing yards against Texas. Gabriel will be a threat with his legs and arm versus UCF and is among the best NCAA football player props for Week 8.

On the flip side, John Rhys Plumlee is making his return as the Knights QB1. Heading into this game, UCF is pushing the idea that Plumlee is close to 100% which means the Knights will be leaning on his dual-threat capabilities in Norman.

Back Oklahoma State Offense in West Virginia

The Oklahoma State offense is slowly finding its footing with Alex Bowman under center. Bowman has been helped by the play of running back Ollie Gordon. The Cowboys rusher has had three straight games topping 120 rushing yards.

Avery Johnson Headlines Grab Bag of Big 12 Props

Kansas State appears to have found their quarterback of the future in Avery Johnson. This Wildcats quarterback is lightning fast and the odds for his props are going to increase as the weeks go on when more people become aware of his abilities. Bet online that Johnson to have a rushing touchdown against TCU.

We’re going to do our best version of a two-minute offense here with the rest of my top Big 12 props. I am predicting Baylor’s Monaray Baldwin has his fourth straight game of more than 80 receiving yards. If you are looking for a fun bet with plus odds, take Houston quarterback Donovan Smith to score a rushing touchdown which sits at +240 in the BetUS odds.
