NCAA Picks Today: Bet Texas Over Oklahoma State in Big 12 Championship
The Texas Longhorns are 14.5-point favorites over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Big 12 championship spread. The over-under is set at 55 points in the Vegas odds.
Heading into Saturday’s conference title game, The Athletic’s Big 12 bowl projections have Texas facing Missouri in the Cotton Bowl. These predictions have Oklahoma State squaring off against Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl.

The Longhorns are still in contention to make the College Football Playoff but need a lot of help. Texas needs to win at Jerry’s World, then become big Louisville fans in the ACC title game.
The Longhorns likely need a Florida State loss in order to make the College Football Playoff. And even that wouldn’t guarantee anything because Texas sits seventh and would have to leapfrog two teams to get into the playoff.

Here is a look at my college football predictions for the Big 12 title matchup between Texas and Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma State Would Love to Send Texas to the SEC With an L
With Texas heading to the SEC, Oklahoma State would like nothing more than for the Longhorns’ last Big 12 Conference Game to be a loss while spoiling the Longhorns’ title hopes. As you head to the sportsbook, the question is whether the Cowboys have enough firepower to hang with Texas.

Oklahoma State has played down to their competition as the Cowboys schedule shows. Yet, the Pokes have also beaten the best teams on their slate with wins over Oklahoma, Kansas and Kansas State.
Texas-Oklahoma State Pick: Longhorns Have Too Much Firepower
The challenge for Oklahoma State is Texas is going to be plenty motivated to not just win but to put up style points for the College Football Playoff committee. The strength of the Cowboys team is star running back Ollie Gordon II.
Ollie Gordon 34-156 & 5 TDs.
He tied Barry Sanders for the most amount of TDs in 1 game, which, considering the incredible backs OSU has had, is pretty amazing. @Ollie_Gordon2 also leads the nation in rushing, is 2nd in Rushing TD & 3rd in in All Purpose Yards. Texas Longhorns vs Oklahoma State Betting Lines
Yet, the Longhorns have the No. 4 ranked defense in the country against the run, allowing 85 yards per game. These teams are trending in opposite directions, which should be noted when looking at the Vegas odds.

Texas has an opportunity to have another statement game in front of a national audience just as the Longhorns did against Bama in Tuscaloosa. Oklahoma State is going to struggle to run the ball and lacks the overall firepower to prevent this from being a blowout.
As Texas likes to say, “all gas, no breaks” and there will be no letting up as the Longhorns want to prove the team belongs in the College Football Playoff.
Big 12 Championship Pick: Texas -14.5

Thanks to their recent string of blowouts, Oregon is being overvalued as 10-point favorites against Washington in the Pac-12 championship.
Which NCAAF games this week offer the most value for betting?
With SMU missing its quarterback, Tulane is still only a four-point favorite in the AAC championship game. The Green Wave is a great bet to cover.
