That said, unders pay the same way as the overs – and actually have more value given fans do not generally like to take them. We’re breaking down my best unders to take in Week 13.

We’re continuing to ride with Houston, which leads the nation with the most unders. Let’s take a look at four unders we like for college football picks in Week 13.

1. Houston’s Defense Has Success vs Baylor

No one is confusing Houston with a contender, but the team is playing a lot better than the squad we saw to start the season. The Cougars stumbled 27-3 versus Arizona, but the team had been playing a lot better, particularly on defense.

Per Baylor vs Houston betting tips, the Cougars have the most unders nationally this season, going below the total in nine of 10 contests. The over-under is set at 50½ for the Big 12 matchup and look for Houston’s trend to continue.

2. Minnesota Struggles vs Penn State Defense

Penn State’s lack of explosiveness of offense may be the one thing that keeps the Nittany Lions from being a national championship contender. Yet, it is Penn State’s defense that has been a big reason for the team’s success this season.

This feels like one of those sleepy low-scoring Big Ten games that are good background noise for taking a nap. Penn State has gone under in seven of 10 games this season while Minnesota is an even 5-5 split on the total.

James Franklin said Penn State is “playing some of the best defense” in all of college football right now, but the next step is forcing turnovers more consistently.

The over-under set at 45 for this Big Ten clash. We’re riding with the under in our college football best bets.

PICK: Penn State vs Minnesota Under 45

Both of these squads have trended towards the under this season. James Madison is among the college football teams with the most unders at seven of 10 contests. Appalachian State is 2-6-1 when it comes to the over-under in 2024.

Despite these trends, the total is set at 61. Take the under in this matchup.

4. Oklahoma State Offense to Struggle vs Texas Tech

This is one of the highest totals in the college football lines. The problem is that this Oklahoma State offense is worse than that new “Joker” movie.

We know that Texas Tech can put up points, but I don’t think the Pokes are going to be able to keep pace. Bet online on the under in this Big 12 clash.

5. East Carolina vs North Texas Has Crazy 73½ Point Total

This is the highest total in Week 13. We are only two weeks removed from North Texas only scoring three points against Army. I think the smart money is on these two teams not combining for 74 points to cap off our NCAA football predictions.
