The final week of the college football regular season sees a number of rivals squaring off, and we are looking at putting together a favorites parlay. We’re feeling pretty good after a perfect week picking favorites last week, so let’s work on another winning parlay.

1. Missouri Closes Out SEC Play With Win Over Arkansas

The No. 21 Missouri Tigers try to finish the regular season on a winning streak, which they haven’t experienced since mid-October. The Tigers have alternated between wins and losses over their last five games, including a victory over Mississippi State last weekend.

Now Missouri faces an Arkansas Razorbacks squad that just became bowl eligible last weekend with a non-conference victory over Louisiana Tech. The Razorbacks did play Texas tough in its last SEC game, falling 20-10, but consistent offense has been a problem this season.

The Tigers are hoping to get more consistent play from its offense with quarterback Brady Cook healthy and playing. Cook has passed for over 200 yards and a touchdown in each of the last two games after he was injured against Alabama on Oct. 26.

Per Arkansas vs Missouri betting trends, the Tigers have averaged 33 points over the last three contests.

The senior quarterback will be looking for a big game in his final contest at home as a Tiger. He offers plus odds in NCAAF player prop betting if he passes for at least 240 yards.

Arkansas’ pass defense must improve against Cook. The Razorbacks enter the weekend last in the SEC, allowing 251.1 passing yards per game.

2. UNC Earns Rivalry Victory Over NC State

Changes are coming for the North Carolina Tar Heels football program, which made college football news by firing head coach Mack Brown this week. The 73-year-old will coach the team in Saturday’s contest, though a decision hasn’t been made on whether Brown will remain coaching through the team’s bowl game.

“While this was not the perfect time and way in which I imagined going out, no time will ever be the perfect time,” Brown said in a statement. “I’ve spent 16 seasons at North Carolina and will always cherish the memories and relationships (Brown’s wife) Sally and I have built while serving as head coach.”

As if there wasn’t already motivation to play hard against the rival NC State Wolfpack, the Tar Heels are going to be fighting to send Brown out with a win.

Per NC State vs North Carolina stats, the Wolfpack need a victory to be able to extend their tumultuous season to a bowl game. NC State has dropped two straight after getting two straight wins to improve to 5-4.

If the Wolfpack are going to pull the upset, they’ll need to be able to stop the UNC offense led by senior Jacolby Criswell, who has passed for 2,179 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. Criswell is looking to bounce back from an ugly three-interception game in last week’s loss to Boston College.

Junior running back Omarion Hampton is also looking for a bounce-back performance after being held to 53 yards by the Eagles. Hampton rushed for 244 yards in a Nov. 16 win over Wake Forest but was held in check last week.

3. Air Force Soars Past San Diego State

Just three games ago, the Air Force Falcons were struggling through a one-win season, but things have turned in a hurry. Heading into this week’s game against the host San Diego State Aztecs, the Falcons are on a three-game winning streak and looking to extend it to four to finish up the campaign.

San Diego State is on a five-game losing streak, including consecutive 41-20 losses to UNLV and Utah State. The Aztecs need to improve their run defense in this one, though they rank 10th in the Mountain West, giving up 201.0 yards on the ground per game.

The Falcons love to run the football, as shown last week, when they had two players go over 100 yards on the ground. Per Air Force vs San Diego State betting tips, the Falcons are fourth in the conference, racking up 219.3 rushing yards per contest.

Running back Dylan Carson missed three straight 100-yard rushing efforts by just three yards, finishing with 97 against Oregon State two games ago. He leads the Falcons with 475 rushing yards, but is one of three players on the team with at least 300 yards on the ground, joining quarterback Quentin Hayes (428) and running back Owen Allen (308).
