We’re going to give you three favorites you should definitely be betting on this week to get yourself a nice parlay victory.

Top 3 Legs to Bet for Week 9 NCAAF Parlay

1. In-State Showdown Goes to Kansas State

It’s been a very disappointing season for the Kansas Jayhawks, who had Big 12 title dreams but are just 2-5 heading into their Week 9 contest with the Kansas State Wildcats. Kansas has just one win in four conference contests, though it did come last week against Houston 42-14.

But the Cougars aren’t the caliber team that the Wildcats are, with Kansas State suffering just one loss all season and coming into this one ranked No. 16 in the country. Kansas State is coming off a pair of road wins over Colorado and West Virginia and is brimming with confidence as it tries to work its way into a Big 12 Conference Championship Game appearance.

The Jayhawks are now second in college football futures odds at +225 to win the Big 12, behind only betting favorite Iowa State.

Sophomore Avery Johnson runs the Kansas State offense and is coming off possibly his best game of the season, throwing three touchdowns in the win over West Virginia. What was special about the 298-yard passing day for Johnson was the fact that he didn’t throw an interception or get sacked in the contest. Johnson had thrown at least one interception in each of the previous three games.

Running back DJ Giddens has ranked among the rushing leaders in the Big 12 all season long, and he’s fourth heading into this week after West Virginia held him to 57 yards last week. The junior did find the end zone twice against the Mountaineers and had gone over 180 yards rushing in the previous two games, so the Jayhawks have to be ready to focus on him in this one. Keep him in mind for NCAAF player prop bets.

Defense has been a difficulty for Kansas all season long, with the Jayhawks allowing 358 yards of total offense and 24.0 points per game to rank ninth in the Big 12 in both categories. Those numbers won’t improve this week as Kansas State rolls to a win.

Make sure to bet online on the Wildcats in his in-state matchup.

2. Virginia Worthy Pick vs UNC

The ACC has some elite teams this season, but the Virginia Cavaliers and North Carolina Tar Heels are not among them. Still, this matchup is a key one, especially for the host Cavaliers, who are looking to get a couple more wins this season to become bowl-eligible.

For North Carolina, a visit to face the slumping Cavaliers gives it a shot at its first conference win this season. The Tar Heels’ season has been a bit cursed since the opener, when starting quarterback Max Johnson was lost for the season with a broken leg. After starting with three straight wins, North Carolina comes into this one on a four-game losing skid, partially because of the instability at the quarterback position.

Senior Jacolby Criswell has taken over the starting job after starting the season as the third-stringer at the position, and he’s starting to improve in recent weeks. Criswell has gone two games without an interception and comes into this week with 1,367 yards and eight touchdowns through the air.

But North Carolina’s defense must improve if it wants to pull the upset in NCAA football lines. Over the four-game losing streak, the Tar Heels have allowed 41.2 points per game.

Virginia is hoping for a better showing this week after dropping two straight, including a 48-31 setback at Clemson last week. The Cavaliers have been solid offensively and could find the going a bit easier against the Tar Heels.

Sophomore quarterback Anthony Colandrea (1,649 yards, 11 touchdowns) could have a big game against the porous North Carolina defense. Colandrea has thrown just four interceptions all season, including none in the last four games.

Look for another rough game for the North Carolina defense as Virginia gets the job done at home. The Cavaliers are another favorite to include in your college football picks this week.

3. Bet Penn State to Stay Perfect With Road Win at Wisconsin

While the college football news has been focused on No. 1 Oregon and its initial foray through a Big Ten schedule, the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions have also been perfect this season. Penn State looks to improve on that unbeaten record when it travels to face the Wisconsin Badgers for a conference clash on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions have been off since pulling out a 33-30 overtime victory on the road against USC in Week 7. Penn State has had some struggles this season, but it continues to come out on top in every game.

Wisconsin has had its share of struggles as well, including losing starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke for the season in a Week 2 loss to Alabama. Sophomore Braedyn Locke has stepped in and played well, passing for 1,064 yards and seven touchdowns. He has the Badgers on a three-game winning streak heading into this one.

But Wisconsin’s level of competition hasn’t been great during its winning streak, with its three opponents – Purdue, Rutgers and Northwestern – combining for just two conference victories this season. Penn State will be a different animal for the Badgers to try to handle.

Junior quarterback Drew Allar has been efficient all season long, passing for 1,492 yards and 11 touchdowns while also rushing for 121 yards and three scores. Tight end Tyler Warren is his top receiver with 40 catches for 513 yards and four touchdowns.

Look for Allar and Warren to connect a few more times against the Badgers as Penn State rolls to another victory. Put the Nittany Lions among your NCAAF parlay picks for this weekend and you’ll come away with a big win.
