I am offering seven CFB predictions which include four underdogs to back. It’s time to get more hyped than Pat McAfee for another week of college football.

Here’s a look at my best college football bets.

7 Best College Football Bets for Week 9

1. Boise State (-3) Covers vs UNLV in Battle of CFP Contenders

This matchup not only has Mountain West implications, but Boise State and UNLV are both in contention to make the College Football Playoff. The Broncos have been a major talking point thanks to star running back Ashton Jeanty emerging as the favorite in the Heisman Trophy odds at +200.

UNLV has been in the college football news headlines for other reasons with some NIL drama as their initial starting quarterback Matthew Sluka shut things down over a financial dispute. This feels like a future narrative podcast series made by hipsters.

That said, the Rebels have done just fine without Sluka. I still like Boise State to cover in the NCAAF odds versus UNLV.

Bet on Boise State -3 vs UNLV

2. Kentucky (-2½) Cruises vs Auburn

Let’s treat this more like an Instagram reel than a binge-worthy Netflix show. Neither of these teams are going to be SEC contenders, but Kentucky has at least shown a little bit more this season.

Hugh Freeze may be in full-on panic mode as the Tigers have lost four straight games. Auburn has yet to win a game against a power conference opponent this season.

Bet online for Kentucky to cover ATS versus Auburn.

3. Texas Tech (+7) Bounces Back vs TCU

This is a perfect overreaction spot with both teams heading into this matchup at opposite ends of the spectrum. Texas Tech laid an egg in a blowout loss to Baylor while TCU surprised with an upset win over Utah.

The Horned Frogs’ win over the Utes was not against the Utah team once viewed as a Big 12 contender. I still think Texas Tech is the better team in this Lone Star State clash. Take the Red Raiders to cover in the NCAA football lines.

Bet on Texas Tech +7 vs TCU now!

4. LSU (+3) has Texas A&M on Upset Alert

Both of these teams are starting to find their footing. It feels like LSU was left for dead after the team’s loss to USC in the season opener.

Since then, the Tigers have been impressive, notching wins over South Carolina, Ole Miss and Arkansas. I think this could be a wrong team favored situation. Take LSU to cover versus Texas A&M at the BetUS Sportsbook.

Bet LSU +3 to upset Texas A&M!

5. Colorado (-4½) Covers ATS in Big 12 Clash With Cincinnati

Coach Prime’s squad bounced back after the heartbreaking loss to Kansas State and made short work of Arizona. I am not convinced this Cincinnati team is that good.

Give me Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter ALL DAY in this matchup.

Bet Colorado -4½ to cover vs Cincinnati!

6. West Virginia (+3) Finally Gets Right vs Arizona

West Virginia has been in games, but the Mountaineers’ recent schedule has not done the team any favors. Not ideal for West Virginia to play back-to-back games against Kansas State and Iowa State.

Arizona’s offense clearly is not as good as we initially thought. Country roads, take me home, to take the Mountaineers to cover ATS in the college football lines.

Bet on West Virginia +3 to bounce back against Arizona!

7. Utah (-3½) Bounces Back vs Houston

Look, there are going to be bad games where freshman quarterback Isaac Wilson is going to struggle. Utah may no longer be a Big 12 contender, but neither is Houston.

I still have more faith in Utah being the more talented squad in this matchup. Take Utah to cover in the NCAA football odds.

Bet on Utah -3.5 to recover against Houston!
