The Ohio Bobcats are a slight road underdog in the NCAA football odds as they match up against the Toledo Rockets in a key Mid-American Conference contest on Wednesday night.

The Bobcats are in a three-way tie for first place in the MAC and two wins will secure a spot in the league championship game. Ohio has won three straight while averaging 41 points and hosts 3-7 Ball State next week.

Toledo is just one game behind the top three in the league after putting up 66 points to win its last two and have won four of five at home. The Rockets rolled to a 37-10 win over Central Michigan last week.

Both teams can put up points, which bodes well for the over in online betting, but it may come down to which team can make more plays on the other side of the ball. The Bobcats have the slightest edge on defense, but will that play out on the road?

Top 3 Ohio vs Toledo Betting Tips 11/20

1. Bet Bobcats To Earn Important Victory

This game looks very even in the statistics, so you have to find ways to make your decisions and take a shot in NCAA football predictions.

Two games against common opponents stick out. Per Ohio vs Toledo betting trends, the Rockets lost to Buffalo while Ohio beat the Bulls 47-16. Toledo edged Eastern Michigan 29-28 while Ohio rolled over the Eagles 35-10 last week.

Those types of comparisons don’t always work, but we think Ohio might be playing a little better football as we enter the final two weeks.

Quarterback Parker Navarro had a career-hgh 277 yards passing and ran for four scores in last week’s win. Anthony Tyus III has rushed for 726 yards and Navano 662 on the season while Bobcats receiver Coleman Owen boasts 56 catches for 882 yards. Navarro has the lowest odds in NCAAF player props at -143 to score a touchdown.

The key may be the Ohio defense, which had a season-high four takeaways versus Eastern Michigan. Bet Ohio on the moneyline (Ev) and +2 points.

Bet This NCAAF Pick: Ohio (even) and (+2)

2. Why Bet Against Toledo This Week?

The Rockets still have a chance to finish in a tie for the MAC regular-season title with two wins and they are hard to bet against at this time of year.

Toledo’s offense is producing 30 points per game on the season with a balanced attack. Four runners have between 209-368 yards rushing on the season. Quarterback Tucker Gleason has 19 TD passes and two receivers boast at least 653 yards receiving.

Gleason also has six scores on the ground while Jerjuan Newton (52 catches, 823 yards, 10 touchdowns) and Junior Vandeross (58, 653, four) lead the way through the air.

Toledo’s defense has been up and down, though. The Rockets gave up 41 points to Bowling Green at home three weeks ago. We think you should stay away from Toledo when making college football predictions in this contest.

3. Over Solid Bet In MAC Showdown

No doubt in such a big game, the defenses will be focused and ready to keep the score down.

However, these two teams are among the top three in the league in points per contest. Toledo is second and Ohio third, combining for almost 60.

Gleason has three top receivers in Newton, Vandeross and Anthony Torres (six TDs) to excite the home fans. Navarro is coming off one of the best games of his career for the Bobcats.

The number seems low at 45½ points. The over looks like a good bet to add to your college football picks and parlays.

Bet This NCAAF Pick: Ohio (Ev) and over 45 points (-110)
