BYU has established itself as a contender for a College Football Playoff spot with a 6-0 start, which includes a 3-0 record at home. While there are plenty of college football bets you can make on this game, we’re going to focus on the players you should be wagering on finding the end zone on Friday night.

Top 3 Oklahoma State vs BYU Anytime TD Props

1. Roberts’ Roll Continues vs Cowboys

BYU hasn’t had much of a running game this season, averaging just 140.2 yards on the ground to rank 12th in the Big 12. The team has just six rushing touchdowns through six games, so picking a runner to score in this one isn’t your best bet.

One consistent offensive threat, especially in conference games, has been Cougars wide receiver Chase Roberts, who has caught a touchdown pass in each of the last three contests. Roberts has 26 catches on the season, averaging 15.3 yards per catch, so he’s certainly a threat to score when he gets the ball in his hands.

The junior has +110 odds to extend his scoring streak to four games, and we’re advising that you take that bet. Roberts should be in the end zone at last once against the Cowboys on Friday night, so make sure you bet online to cash in on his score.

2. RB Gordon Getting Best Odds for Cowboys Score

Despite not finding the end zone for the last four games, the best NCAA football lines for a touchdown in his game belong to Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II. The junior does have four touchdowns this season, but those all came in the first two games of the campaign, including three against San Diego State in the season opener.

Gordon hasn’t broken the 100-yard barrier since the win over the Aztecs, going over 50 yards just once in the last five games. Some might say he’s due to break out, though the Cougars are fifth in the Big 12, holding opponents to just 120.3 rushing yards per game.

Still, we don’t see the Cowboys getting shut out in this one, and Gordon had 21 rushing touchdowns in 2023, including five in the regular-season finale win over BYU. Gordon had 166 rushing yards on a season-high 34 carries in that contest, so look for Mike Gundy to try to re-discover that magic on Friday.

If you’re going to bet on a Cowboys player to find the end zone, Gordon is a solid pick at -143. Put him among our best college football predictions for touchdown scorers in this one.

3. Take a Flier on Versatile Kingston

The Cougars have been getting scoring from all over their roster, whether it’s on offense, defense or even special teams. One of the players that can contribute in two of those areas is sophomore wide receiver Parker Kingston.

Kingston has just four catches on the season, but one of those was for a touchdown last week against Arizona. He also has passed for a touchdown this season, as well as returning a punt for a 90-yard score in BYU’s rout of Kansas State.

He’s just that type of guy that’s good at everything,” Roberts said of Kingston. “Throw him on the ping pong table, and he’s going to whip you in ping pong.

Kingston doesn’t get as many touches as some of the other BYU skill players, but he makes the most of those touches when he gets them. If you’re looking for a player with long odds to take a chance on, Kingston is your guy. He’s listed at +325 to score against the Cowboys.

The Cougars like to involve everyone, so it might be worth it to put something down on Kingston to score when you’re doing your college football picks on this game.
