Ducks Looking to Stay Atop Pac-12
Oregon Riding Seven-Game Winning Streak
The No. 8 Oregon Ducks try to stay perfect in Pac-12 play when they face the host Colorado Buffaloes in a conference clash on Saturday. Oregon has won seven straight, including a rout of the California Golden Bears last weekend, and is leading the Pac-12 by a half-game over the second-place USC Trojans.
Colorado has dropped two in a row and is tied with three other teams for eighth in the conference standings, a half-game ahead of the Stanford Cardinal. This may seem like a major mismatch, but make sure you read our in-depth preview of this game before you make any bet online.

Let’s check the latest college football odds, stats, injury reports and college football lines for Oregon vs Colorado. We’ve plenty of NCAA football odds for you to consider.
Nix Leading Powerful Ducks Offense
The Oregon Ducks were shut out in the first quarter against the California Golden Bears last weekend, but it didn’t seem to matter as Oregon won its seventh straight, racking up 42 points with quarterback Bo Nix accounting for six touchdowns. The transfer from Auburn is playing like a Heisman Trophy contender and the Ducks’ opponents are paying the price.
“It’s nice when you don’t perform your best, you miss a few opportunities in the red zone, and you still do what we did on offense,” Nix said after Saturday’s win. “It’s a good thing, but we still have to get back to work and be hungry.”
Nix threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns against California, adding 59 rushing yards and three scores on the ground. The senior has passed for 2,221 yards and 20 touchdowns as well as rushing for 441 yards and 11 scores, making the Ducks hard to stop.
The balance of the Oregon offense was shown by seven different players having at least 30 yards receiving against the Golden Bears. Running back Noah Whittington led the way with five catches for 67 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for a team-high 66 yards. Whittington has 475 yards rushing and 96 yards receiving.
Colorado Struggling to Defend
The Colorado Buffaloes have had a lot of areas of concern, but the defensive side of the ball has been a major problem throughout this campaign. Colorado ranks 129th out of 131 FBS schools in scoring defense, allowing 39.12 points per game, which isn’t going to be helped by facing the Oregon Ducks.
The Buffaloes will need to control the ball to keep the Ducks’ offense off the field, which means they’ll need a big game from sophomore quarterback J.T. Shrout. Shrout has passed for 729 yards and five touchdowns, including over 200 yards in each of the last two games.
Junior running back Deion Smith will also be leaned on heavily as the Buffaloes try to keep it on the ground. Smith returned from an injury that forced him to be taken from the field on a stretcher on Oct. 15 to run for 111 yards and a touchdown against Arizona State last weekend. Smith has rushed for a team-high 354 yards and two touchdowns.
