The Oregon Ducks try to continue their magical season when they travel to face the Purdue Boilermakers on Friday night in a Big Ten contest. Oregon is No. 2 in the country after a win over then-No. 2 Ohio State last week.
Purdue has struggled this season, losing five in a row, but it is hoping to make some college football news with an upset of the Ducks. The game may seem like a mismatch, but there are betting options, including anytime touchdown picks, which we’ll go over in this article.
Top 3 Oregon vs Purdue Anytime TD Props
1. Gabriel Gives Great Betting Value
Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel has great passing numbers this season, accumulating 1,790 yards and 13 touchdowns through the air. But he’s also a dangerous player when it comes to running the ball, as he showed last week in the win vs Ohio State.

Gabriel rushed four times for 32 yards, including a go-ahead touchdown run in the fourth quarter from 27 yards out. It was the second straight game and fourth time in five games that he’s found the end zone on a run.
With defenses focusing so much on the dangerous Oregon receivers, Gabriel is able to find running lanes, either on designed runs or when a play breaks down. The senior now has 30 rushing touchdowns over his collegiate career, spanning from his time at UCF and Oklahoma to this season with the Ducks.
Gabriel is listed at -143 at the BetUS sportsbook to run into the end zone against the Boilermakers this week, and we are behind that bet all the way.

2. Take Jordan James to Find End Zone Multiple Times
The best bet to score a touchdown in this game is Oregon running back Jordan James, and with good reason. James has rushed for six touchdowns this season, including at least one in the Ducks’ last four contests.
Meanwhile, Purdue has allowed 19 rushing touchdowns this season, so there’s a very good chance for James to extend his scoring streak to five games.
Problem is, James’ player prop odds make it hard to get a good return for a single touchdown – he has -501 odds for an anytime touchdown in this game. But, if you want to be a little risky, you can bet on the junior to score twice against the Boilermakers on Friday night. Those odds are +100, so while it may be a little more difficult for James to accomplish that, it would give you a solid payoff if he does.
James is on a hot streak, rushing for over 100 yards in each of the last three contests, with at least 20 carries in all three of those games. The weather at game time in Indiana on Friday night is expected to be in the upper 50s, so Oregon may prefer to stay on the ground.
We like James to have another big game in this one, so making one of your college football predictions on him scoring at least two touchdowns feels like a pretty good risk to take.

3. Purdue Hoping Offensive Breakthrough Continues
Oregon has shown an inclination for giving up quite a few points at times this season, and Purdue is coming off its best offensive showing of the season with 49 points against Illinois last week. That coincided with freshman quarterback Ryan Browne making his first start.
Browne will continue in the starting role this week after he passed for three touchdowns vs Illinois. He distributed the ball well to his receiving unit, with three different players catching scoring strikes.
One who didn’t was the team leader in catches in the game, tight end Max Klare, who had six receptions for 133 yards in the loss. Klare is obviously a nice safety valve for Browne, though he did have a 62-yard catch and run at one point in the game.
Since we don’t expect a shutout in this one, we’re making Klare our NCAA football pick for a Boilermaker to score a touchdown. The sophomore is getting +200 odds to be an anytime scorer, so it’s certainly worth a shot. Klare has two touchdowns among his 21 receptions on the season, and we’re banking that he’ll make it three this week.
Make Klare one of your touchdown picks when you bet online on this one, and you could have a nice return heading into Saturday.
