The college football odds list Penn State as a double-digit favorite.

Let’s break down some props to consider when making college football predictions between two teams that fell short of returning to the College Football Playoffs.

3 Boise State vs Penn State Prop Picks to Bet

1. Tyler Warren 77+ Receiving Yards (-113)

It is fun to imagine what would happen if quarterback Drew Allar and tight end Drew Allar played in a more pass-happy offense than the one at Penn State.

Warren somehow hauled in 92 passes for more than 1000 yards even though Penn State ran the ball 58% of the time this season.

Warren was pretty quiet in the SMU game with 33 yards on four catches. We’re not ready to project Warren to have his fifth 100-yard game of the season but the -113 odds for Warren to have at least 77 receiving odds look pretty good.

Bet On Tyler Warren 77+ Receiving Yards (-113)

2. Ashton Jeanty 21+ Receiving Yards (+134)

Is there really anybody else to go with on the Boise State roster than Ashton Jeanty when it comes to the best college football player prop picks?

Finding running room against a Penn State team that is seventh among Football Bowl Subdivision programs in rushing yards allowed per game won’t be easy. However, it is hard to take Jeanty at -113 to go under 125.5 yards based on how he has run the ball this season.

The -334 odds for Jeanty to score at least one touchdown aren’t very enticing either.

Jeanty isn’t utilized too often in the Boise State passing game. That might change against Penn State. When the Nittany Lions topped SMU in its CFP opener, SMU running back Brashard Smith had four catches for 24 yards. When making NCAAF picks, the +134 odds for Jeanty to have at least 21 receiving yards are worth considering.

Bet On Ashton Jeanty 21+ Receiving Yards(+134)

3. Drew Allar to Score 1+ TDs (+129)

Penn State’s Allar can really sling it when he is given the green light to throw the ball. Boise State was seventh in the Mountain West in passing efficiency defense and 10th in passing yards allowed.

We’re going in a different direction. Allar has touchdown runs in three of his last four games. He probably would have had more than six TD runs if reserve quarterback Beau Pribula was used in run-first packages. Pribula is no longer around so that could result in most carries for Allar.

We’re not loving the -251 and -200 NCAAF betting lines for running backs Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen to be anytime touchdown scorers. There is more of a reward for Allar at +129 to score 1+ touchdowns.

Bet On Drew Allar to Score 1+ TDs (+129)
