SEC Week 12 Props: Slim Pickings with 3 SEC Games
This is not a week of compelling matchups in the SEC with Alabama facing Chattanooga, Ole Miss welcoming UL Monroe, Mississippi State meeting Southern Miss after firing its head coach, the post-Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M beginning with a clash with Abilene Christian while LSU, Arkansas, and Auburn also step out of SEC play. That will limit the options for the best college football bets for SEC games in Week 12.
There are three SEC games to keep an eye on led by No. 1 Georgia playing at Tennessee. The Florida-Missouri and Kentucky-South Carolina games could be interesting as well.

Georgia is the only SEC team to be favored on the road in Week 12, according to our sportsbook. The Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide have already clinched spots in the SEC Championship Game.
Many of the SEC player props in Week 11 failed to come through and with so many non-conference matchups that could be decided early, there could be some slim pickings in Week 12.
Georgia received 112 of the 126 first-place votes to remain at No. 1 in the two national polls. The Bulldogs jumped Ohio State in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings. Alabama is eighth in both national polls and in the CFP rankings. Missouri is 11th, Ole Miss is 13th in the Associated Press poll and 14th in the American Football Coaches Association ranking. LSU and Tennessee come in at 15th and 18th in the CFP rankings.
When taking a peek at the college football predictions, keep in mind that Georgia has fallen behind Michigan at odds to win the national title. Alabama is third at +600 in the championship odds.
Here’s a look at some SEC Week 11 prop bets that those who bet online might want to consider.
Bowers Ready To Tower over the Competition?
Tennessee coach Josh Heupel certainly knows how to make friends as there were uncomfortable post-game exchanges with the head coach from the other team in each of the last two weeks.
Don’t expect Georgia’s Kirby Smart to continue that trend. He has more important business. Georgia is looking to return to the College Football Playoffs and a win over Tennessee would certainly increase the chances of that happening.
This is also a chance to get star tight end Brock Bowers going again.
Bowers had three catches for 34 yards and a touchdown in last week’s win over Ole Miss in his first game back since being injured in a mid-October win over Vanderbilt.

He will be needed more in upcoming games and this is a good week to get the connection going between Bowers and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck.
College Football Pick: Georgia’s Brock Bowers to have at least 66 receiving yards +110
Etienne Ready to Rumble?
With two 150-yard games in the last three contests, the bar is being set rather high for Missouri running back Cody Schrader going into the showdown with Florida.
We expect Schrader to have another good game but there isn’t much of a reward for going with him unless he runs for at least 127 yards.
The odds for Florida’s Trevor Etienne are a little more reasonable after he put up 80 and 99 yards in the last two games.
College Football Pick: Florida’s Trevor Etienne to have at least 67 rushing yards +108
Will Milton Finally Come Through?
Joe Milton hasn’t exactly been lighting things up and now that Tennessee quarterback gets to face a Georgia team looking to complete another perfect run through its SEC regular-season schedule.
Tennessee is going to have to make some plays in the passing game to hang around and the Volunteers should be a little fired up after last week’s no-show against Missouri.
If Georgia gets up early, it won’t be a surprise to see the Bulldogs turn to the running game so take a look at our sportsbook for the options when it comes to Milton to air it out for the Volunteers.
College Football Pick: Tennessee’s Joe Milton to have more touchdown passes than Georgia’s Carson Beck +152
Keep Eye on Mizzou’s Top Pass Catcher
Missouri’s Luther Burden has touchdowns in each of the last three games.
He has been rather quiet in back-to-back showdowns versus ranked Georgia and Tennessee games with 79 yards on seven catches.
Expect him to be a little busier on Saturday against Florida as he closes in on a 1,000-yard season.
While he has gone five games without scoring multiple touchdowns, it is worth it to roll with him to do just that as he continues to be a popular player prop bet in 2023.
College Football Pick: Missouri’s Luther Burden to have at least two touchdowns against Florida +250
Another Early Score for Auburn?
Auburn seems to be peaking at the perfect time.
The Tigers went to Arkansas and handed the Razorbacks a 38-point loss. A key for Auburn was scoring early as it took the Tigers 2:23 to open the scoring. A special-teams touchdown followed for Auburn.
It is hard to know what to expect against New Mexico State out of Conference USA, but with a showdown with Alabama on the horizon, expect Auburn to be ready to go in this matchup.
College Football Pick: The first score in the New Mexico State-Auburn game to come in the first six minutes – YES -150
Questions of the Day
What is the top SEC prop bet for this week 12?
Always keep an eye on pass catchers Brock Bowers from Georgia and Luther Burden from Missouri.
What is some SEC prop bet worth taking a risk on?
Going with inconsistent Joe Milton to throw more touchdowns than Georgia’s Carson Beck has some risk attached but could deliver a nice payout.
