Sophomore Kevin Jennings has had a coming-out year at quarterback for SMU, passing for 3,050 yards and 22 touchdowns. Jennings has been a consistent threat throwing the ball after a bit of a slow start to the campaign.

Jennings failed to reach 150 passing yards in the first four games of the season, but he’s had at least 225 passing yards in each of the last nine contests. Only once during that nine-game stretch has Jennings failed to reach 250 passing yards, and that was in a 38-6 blowout of California in the regular-season finale.

Penn State has allowed 178.5 passing yards per game this season, but Oregon threw for 283 yards on the Nittany Lions in the Big Ten Championship Game. The Mustangs are going to have to go to the air to move the ball consistently, and we like Jennings to be successful finding holes in the Penn State secondary.

2. Penn State TE Tyler Warren Over 70½ Receiving Yards (-113)

One of the most versatile players for Penn State this season has been tight end Tyler Warren. The senior leads the Nittany Lions with 88 catches for 1,062 yards and six touchdowns, but he’s also rushed the ball 23 times for 191 yards and four scores.

Coach James Franklin likes to get the ball into Warren’s hands as much as possible, and he’ll be the go-to guy for Penn State quarterback Drew Allar. Warren is averaging 7.4 receptions and 91.2 receiving yards over the last five games, and he should keep up that production in this one.
