The Gamecocks’ offense exploded with 404 total yards, 21 first downs and seven touchdowns in their last game. Quarterback Spencer Rattler did have some turnover trouble with two interceptions, but he made up for it with three total touchdowns in the drubbing.
Rattler now has multiple interceptions in three of five games for a total of seven on the season. It’s a worrying trend, and the Wildcats have a solid pass defense to victimize him. Without the turnover issues, the Gamecocks could have a top-25 offense. As it stands, they rank 37th in points and 67th in yards per game.
It’s worth noting that the Gamecocks lead the nation in field goal conversion percentage, with Mitch Jeter a perfect 5-for-5. It may not matter much, but Kentucky’s Matt Ruffolo is 7-for-9.

Despite his butterfingers basically losing the game, Levis has been solid all season under center. He has 1,405 passing yards and a TD/INT ratio of 12/4 in five starts. We’re inclined to trust him to shake it off and lead this offense that ranks seventh nationally in yards per pass.
The Wildcats have a huge advantage on defense and match up very well against the Gamecocks. Kentucky ranks 12th in opponent completion percentage and 16th in passing yards per game allowed.
