Take Wisconsin-Indiana Under in College Football This Weekend

The Wisconsin Badgers will try to stay in contention for a shot at the Big Ten Championship Game when they take on the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday. Indiana is hoping to end a four-game losing skid, while the Badgers will be aiming to bounce back from a recent loss. Both teams have had their struggles, but our college football odds favor the road team on Saturday.

Wisconsin Hits Trouble

The Badgers dropped their second game in three weeks after their offense stalled again against Ohio State.

Take Wisconsin-Indiana Under in College Football This Weekend

In its last three games, Wisconsin has averaged 13.7 points a game. They suffered more injuries in their last loss to Ohio State, already having to turn to backup quarterback Braedyn Locke after starter Tanner Mordecai was sidelined for the season.

Badgers’ leading rusher Braelon Allen and receiver Chimere Dike missed the second half against the Buckeyes due to leg injuries. Allen has rushed for 754 yards and eight touchdowns, while Dike has 282 receiving yards and one touchdown this season.

With both players’ statuses up in the air for Saturday, Wisconsin’s offense is likely to struggle again, though bettors may want to see if either are available before making their NCAAF picks.

Indiana Drops Another

Despite some improvement from their offense, the Hoosiers dropped their fourth in a row unable to keep up with Penn State.

Its last game against the Nittany Lions was the first time Indiana has surpassed 20 points during its losing streak, averaging 15.5 points and 295.3 total yards a game in its last four games.

However, despite the improved scoring, the Hoosiers still struggled with turnovers, turning it over twice against Penn State and eight times total in their last four games.

Indiana will look to continue its offensive improvement, but it’ll have to do a better job taking care of the ball against a Badger defense that turned Ohio State over three times.

Wisconsin vs Indiana Best Bet

Despite the Badgers possibly being without two more offensive centerpieces, NCAA football odds still have them as a solid road favorite against Indiana. With no value to be gained betting the moneyline, bettors should turn to the total, which our NCAAF lines have set at 45 points.

Though it’s a smaller total, neither Indiana nor Wisconsin have been strong offensively, with Indiana owning the second-worst Power 5 scoring offense. Wisconsin could also be without its top offensive component in Allen, further limiting its scoring ability.

Although the Hoosiers will be looking to build on their performance against Penn State, Wisconsin’s defense has also been solid and should have another good performance after holding Ohio State to 24 points.

Together, the two should combine for a relatively low-scoring affair to stay under the total from our sportsbook.
