A very important SEC clash this weekend finds the Texas A&M Aggies visiting the Auburn Tigers. The No. 15 Aggies go into the final two weeks of the regular season tied for the top spot in the conference standings with Texas, which is next on A&M’s schedule next week.
Auburn has won two of its last three contests but still needs to go 2-0 over the last two weeks of the regular season to become bowl eligible. The Tigers have just one win in conference play this season.
Texas A&M is a 2½-point favorite in NCAA football odds. You can get the Tigers at +115 for the straight-up win on the moneyline while the Aggies are -135. The over/under for the contest has been set at 46½ points.

2 Bets You Should Make on Texas A&M vs Auburn
1. Offensive Changes Reason to Fade Aggies
Despite their solid record and first-place standing, the Aggies are in the midst of some change to their offense. The quarterback position is now manned by freshman Marcel Reed, who took over for starter Conner Weigman midgame against LSU three games ago and has started the last two contests.
Reed had some troubles against South Carolina in a loss on Nov. 2, but he had two touchdown passes and a rushing score in a rout of New Mexico State last weekend. How well he’ll be able to play against the Tigers will be interesting to watch.
As we wait for basketball to tip off, why not a Texas A&M football 🧵from the New Mexico State game?
A lot to like here with this 16-yard TD pass from Marcel Reed to Noah Thomas.

The Aggies are also without leading rusher Le’Veon Moss (765 yards, 10 touchdowns), who made college football news when he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the loss to South Carolina. Junior Amari Daniels has topped 80 rushing yards in each of the last three contests – including five rushes for 84 yards vs New Mexico State – and has moved into the lead back role.
Auburn has been solid defensively for much of the season and has held teams to 18.6 points per game over the last five games. Unfortunately, the offense has averaged 21.8 points over that span, which is inflated by a 48-point effort against Louisiana-Monroe last week.
Still, on Senior Night, we like Auburn to come up with a big effort on the defensive side of the ball, leading to an upset win. Bet online on the Tigers to win as underdogs.

2. Bet on Lots of Points By Auburn
As stated before, Saturday will be the final home game for the Auburn seniors, including quarterback Payton Thorne. The signal caller’s final season with the Tigers has been up and down, including the loss of his starting job earlier in the season.
But Thorne is coming off a career-high five touchdown passes last week in a game that he was questionable for with a shoulder injury. When he’s on, Thorne can be as good as any quarterback in the SEC, but he must avoid the pass rush. Prior to last week, Thorne had taken at least three sacks in five straight games, per Texas A&M vs Auburn stats.
Thorne hooked up with freshman wide receiver Cam Coleman eight times for 100 yards against Louisiana-Monroe, including three scoring strikes. Coleman was the first Tiger to have three touchdown catches in a game since 2018.
Auburn also has KeAndre Lambert-Smith for Thorne to look for in the passing game. Lambert-Smith had six catches for 104 yards last week and has 40 receptions for 761 yards and eight scores on the season.
We like Auburn to keep the ball in the air in this one, racking up some points against the Aggies. Texas A&M will have some contributions as well to this one going over the total of 46½ points.
Add an over bet when you’re making your college football picks on this game for yet another wagering win.
