Top 3 College Football Predictions for the Big Ten in Week 14: Two Props and one Total

Yes, it is Michigan-Ohio State game week. However, with the reigning national champion Wolverines not in the picture for another title, we’re going to look at some other Big Ten games as the regular season comes to a close.

We are coming off a 3-0 week in the Big Ten picks with the Northwestern-Michigan and Indiana-Ohio State game landing over the total and Minnesota not allowing favored Penn State to score at least three times in a row.

Four of the top 12 teams in our odds to win the NCAAF national championship are Big Ten programs. Oregon and Ohio State remain first and second in the College Football Playoff rankings with Penn State at No. 4.

Let’s check out my best college football picks this week for the Big Ten.

Top 3 NCAAF Predictions for the Big Ten in Week 14

1. Game Prop: First Score in Oregon vs Washington to Come Early (-154)

Even with nearly a full season under their belts, it still feels a little strange for a game between Oregon and Washington to be meeting as Big Ten rivals.

The teams met in the final Pac-12 championship game with Washington winning 34-31 to secure a spot in the 2023 College Football Playoff.

Even with quarterbacks Bo Nix and Michael Penix both in the NFL, this doesn’t feel like it will be a defensive slugfest although both teams are in the top in the Big Ten in passing defense when making NCAA picks.

Look for an early score as Oregon looks to remain the top seed in the College Football Playoff projected bracket.

Bet This Pick: First Score in Oregon vs Washington to Come in First 6 Minutes (-154)

2. Over Under Pick: Bet Nebraska vs Iowa Over 39.5

The days of going with any game involving the Iowa Hawkeyes to land under the total are in the rear-view mirror. Each of Iowa’s last five games went over the total with four of those matchups having more than 50 points.

The only Iowa game this season to land under the total came against Ohio State as the Hawkeyes were limited to seven points.

The total has been holding steady at 39.5 at BetUS Sportsbook with Nebraska and its talented freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola coming to town.

It has been a struggle at times for Raiola with three touchdown passes and seven interceptions in his last five games. Nebraska is coming off a 44-25 win over Wisconsin so take this NCAAF betting line and go with the Nebraska-Iowa game to land over.

Bet This Pick: Nebraska-Iowa to Go Over 39.5

3. Minnesota vs Wisconsin Game Prop: No Team to Score 3 Times in a Row (+209)

Good luck trying to figure out the 2024 Wisconsin Badgers.

After the Badgers went toe-to-toe with Big Ten powerhouses Penn State and Oregon, Wisconsin gave up 44 points in a road loss to Nebraska.

Four of the last five times that Minnesota played at Wisconsin, the game’s outcome was in question late in the game. It could be more of the same this weekend.

When it comes to college football predictions, look for the teams to trade scores again.

Bet This Pick: Neither Minnesota Nor Wisconsin Will Score Three Times in a Row (+209)
