Under Best Bet in UTSA vs Tennessee matchup
Both the University of Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners and Tennessee Volunteers will be looking to rebound from losses last week when the two match up on Saturday. The Roadrunners will be aiming to get to .500 before they hit conference play while Tennessee will hope to get back in the win column after dropping its first conference game.
With the Volunteers a major favorite, surrounding your college football bets for the Sept. 23 matchup around the total is another solid option.

QB Injury Could Dim Odds for UTSA
The Roadrunners haven’t got off to the hottest start, losing two of their first three games due to a mostly lackluster performance from their offense.
After averaging 300.4 passing yards a game last season, UTSA hasn’t been able to approach that same mark yet, averaging 220.7 yards through the air and 21 points a game.
The Roadrunners may also be without starting quarterback Frank Harris for a second straight game after he suffered a toe injury in their second game.
With Harris as a game-time decision against Tennessee, bettors may want to wait and see his status before looking at some live betting odds and doing any online NCAAF betting.
Tennessee Swamped on Road
The Volunteers got off to a strong start in their first two games of the, but they found trouble at Florida last week.
Tennessee’s defense was a main factor in its success through the first two weeks, allowing 13 points in each of its first two games and an average of 270 yards.
However, the Vols struggled against the Gators, giving up 29 points and 349 yards. They were unable to stop Florida’s rushing attack, which went for 183 yards and three touchdowns.
Tennessee’s defense should be able to have a stronger day against UTSA to help the Volunteers bounce back.
UTSA vs Tennessee Best Bets
With odds on NCAAF games having the Volunteers as such heavy favorites against the Roadrunners at 21½, there’s no point or value in betting Tennessee on the moneyline. Instead, bettors should take their focus to the total, where football college odds have placed the over/under at 59½ points.
Although Tennessee was the highest-scoring offense a season ago and looked to be starting in that direction in its season opener, the Volunteers’ offense has since taken a step back, averaging 23 points in their last two games.
UTSA’s offense hasn’t been lighting it up either and should have more problems against a Tennessee defense that has led the way for the team so far. The Volunteers should be able to score some points against UTSA but, combined with the Roadrunners, it won’t be enough to reach the total from the sportsbook.
College Football Pick: Under 59½ points (-110)
