USC Trojans
USC beat Fresno State to remain unbeaten. The Trojans converted three fourth downs in the first 1½ quarters of the game.
Quarterback Caleb Williams wasn’t especially sharp or precise in this game, but he made important plays on third and fourth downs to keep drives alive.
USC’s defense came up with multiple red-zone stops, something which has been a consistent feature of the Trojans’ first three games.
Left tackle Bobby Haskins got injured in this game and his backup, Mason Murphy, did not play well.
That is something USC has to worry about against Oregon State, which defeated USC last year and has not lost at home since the 2020 season. The Beavers were unbeaten at home in 2021.
Oregon State Beavers
Those who bet online saw Oregon State crushed Montana State in Week 3, but in many ways, the biggest moment of OSU’s season came in Week 2.
The Beavers trailed Fresno State on the final play of the game. Instead of kicking a game-tying field goal to force overtime, the Beavers decided to go for a touchdown from the Fresno State 3-yard line.
The Beavers scored a touchdown to win on the last play. They come into this game against USC with a ton of confidence.

USC vs Oregon State Prediction
The Trojans have elite talent on offense but their defense is suspect. That’s a big concern for those looking to back them with their college football picks.
On top of that, their left tackle situation is cause for concern. Oregon State will keep this game close and will cover the spread in the sportsbook. Take the Beavers with the points.
