Bulldogs Looking to Stay Perfect
Another full weekend of NCAA football odds is coming, and that gives you plenty of opportunities to make college football lines. The Georgia Bulldogs host the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday, and this is a game that presents a good betting opportunity.
Vanderbilt comes into this game with an overall record of 3-3, but good scheduling has gotten them to that point. The Commodores have not been competitive in SEC action, as they are 0-2 with two blowout losses.
Georgia hasn’t been as dominant this season as they were a year ago, but they are still a perfect 6-0. The Bulldogs are No. 1 in the Top 25 poll, and are still winning games by nearly 30 points per game.

Vanderbilt Must Defend
If Vanderbilt is going to keep this game close, it will have to find a way to get some stops. Vanderbilt is allowing 37 points per game and faces a Georgia team that can do some damage in a hurry.
Quarterback AJ Swann has played well so far for the Commodores, throwing for 848 yards and eight touchdowns. The Commodores would prefer to run the ball, but that won’t be easy to do against Georgia.
Vanderbilt was able to score 28 points in their most recent game against Ole Miss, but points have been hard to come by in recent SEC games. The Commodores will likely break out some trick plays, and that can at least make things exciting.
Georgia Getting Big Plays on Offense
Georgia comes into this game scoring 39.5 points per contest and has racked up more than 515 yards per game. Quarterback Stetson Bennett has hit on some big plays in the passing game, but the Bulldogs are able to get yards on the ground as well.
The expectations for Georgia are now higher than ever, but Bennett said his team was going to enjoy the most recent win. After blowing out Auburn, Bennett told reporters: “I think we’re getting just like, ‘Ah, well, you know it wasn’t perfect, so I’m going to be miserable.’ Like, no. We played a good game. We got a lot of things to get better at. We will just get better at them next week.”
The Georgia defense has also been sharp this season, allowing 10 points per game. There is a reason that Georgia is the top-ranked team in the polls there just aren’t any big weaknesses.
