Pac-12 teams collide in Cali
Conference Lead up for Grabs
The USC Trojans are currently leading the Pac-12 with a 5-0 overall record, but looking to stop them are the 4-1 Washington State Cougars.
The sportsbook has 12½ points between them, so there is plenty of hype around the unbeaten Trojans, which they are plenty used to.

Let’s check the latest NCAAF odds, stats, injury reports, and NCAAF lines for Washington State vs USC. We’ve plenty of NCAAF Vegas odds for you to consider.
Cougars on the Prowl
The Cougars weren’t far off being unbeaten had they not lost a close contest to the then-No. 15 Oregon Ducks 44-41 two weeks ago. They bounced back with a 28-9 win over California. It’s not out of the realm of possibility either as they have a quality team good enough to push a better club.
Washington State’s 17-14 win over the then-No. 19 Wisconsin Badgers was an excellent example, and it came on the road. That’s a good sign against the Trojans, who have scored blowout wins in three home games.
We don’t think college football odds have the Cougars at correct odds. They are +400 in moneyline markets and +12½, so they only need to keep it moderately close for bettors to cash on the visitors.
Getting strong safety Jordan Lee would be a huge boost.
“We feel very confident to get Jordan Lee back this week, and I’m excited about that,” coach Jake Dickert said. “We need him, his experience. He’s seen everything, and his physicality – those are things that are going to help, and obviously keeping guys fresh.”
Trojans Charging Forward
The Trojans are firmly in the top 10 after five quality wins, and demand respect.
They haven’t faced any ranked opponents but the 42-25 win over Arizona State last week was a solid effort. It followed a gutsy 17-14 triumph over Oregon State, but we believe this will be a harder contest.
Having home ground advantage is a bonus and they have been excellent at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. They have a 153-56 scoring advantage at home, so that’s the test facing the Cougars.
They are also heavily respected with NCAAF odds, so bookmakers expect the sixth-ranked side to take care of business.
Our worry is a lack of experience in big situations, but if quarterback Caleb Williams can continue delivering, they’ll be tough to stop. Williams owns 12 touchdowns and only one interception, so he’s taking care of the ball.
USC is taking care of business, but their Pac-12 rivals come into town with high hopes.
Washington State vs USC Head-to-Head
It’s a dominating record for USC, which is 61-10-4 and 40-6-2 in Los Angeles.
It doesn’t get more one-sided than that, especially after beating the Cougars 45-14 last year.

Washington State vs USC Prediction
It’s tough to overlook the history between them, but we’re taking Washington State to cover the spread.
USC should be winning the game, but it could come down to the final quarter. Therefore, we’re comfortable in taking the Cougars to keep it close and the +12½ is too good to pass up.
