Last season, in their final game in the Pac-12, the Washington Huskies defeated the Oregon Ducks in the conference championship game to cement their spot in the College Football Playoff. Now in the Big Ten, the roles have reversed as the Ducks are the top-rated team in the land and looking to cap a perfect regular season with a victory over the Huskies.
Oregon has already clinched a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game, where it will play either Ohio State, Penn State or Indiana next week. Meanwhile, the Huskies became bowl eligible in their last game with a win over UCLA, but they would love to add to their resume with an upset of the Ducks.
Oregon is a 19-point favorite for this game on BetUS Sportsbook. The over/under has been set at 51 points.

2 Bets to Make On Washington vs Oregon
1. Ducks Looking to Get Offense Back in Gear
The Oregon Ducks clinched their spot in the Big Ten Championship Game last week, but it wasn’t easy. Oregon had to rally with 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead field goal with just 2:36 to play, to defeat a Wisconsin team that is fighting for bowl eligibility, 16-13.
Not exactly the way the Ducks want to be going into the biggest games of their season over the next few weeks.
Per Washington vs Oregon betting trends, the Ducks have lost three in a row in the series and the point total for each of the three matchups was 65 or higher.
Quarterback Dillon Gabriel didn’t account for a single touchdown against the Badgers, either on the ground or passing, which is a rarity for the NCAA record holder for career total touchdowns. Gabriel has thrown for 3,066 yards and 22 touchdowns this season while also running for 155 yards and six scores.
Look for him to try to get back on track against the Huskies, especially if leading receiver Tez Johnson (64 catches, 649 yards, eight TDs) is able to go after missing two games with a shoulder injury. Check college football news for updates on his status.
Running back Jordan James continues to be reliable for the Ducks, scoring in his third straight game to tie the contest in the fourth quarter against Wisconsin. James, who finished with 121 yards on the ground against the Badgers, has rushed for 1,067 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The win over Wisconsin was the first time Oregon has had a winning margin of less than 21 points since a one-point victory over Ohio State on Oct. 12. We don’t think it’s going to be a trend as the Ducks roll over the Huskies in this one.

2. Washington Faces Uphill Battle Against Oregon Defense
The Ducks are undefeated not just because of their explosive offense but also because of their defense. Oregon has limited its last five opponents to 18 or fewer points, and our NCAA football predictions expect Washington will have its troubles scoring on the Ducks as well.
Quarterback Will Rogers has struggled over the last two games, passing for a total of 174 yards and three interceptions. True freshman Demond Williams Jr. came on to lead three second-half scoring drives to lead the Huskies over UCLA two weeks ago, but coach Jeff Fisch has been mum about this week’s starter, even after a bye week.
“His ability to jump right in and feel really good about leading the group whenever it was his turn, he did a really nice job there as well,” Fisch said about Williams. “I think both guys responded well to the week of practice, and now, it’s important for us that the guy we believe will start the game gets a significant amount of reps in practice week.”
Williams was 7-of-8 for 67 yards and a touchdown against UCLA and has seen time in every game this season. But making a start against the No. 1 team in the country would certainly be a step up in his responsibilities.
Whoever is taking the snaps is going to face a ferocious Oregon pass rush, with the Ducks ranking fourth in the Big Ten with 29 sacks.
We don’t foresee the Huskies getting on the board much, so we’re making one of our college football best bets for this game that it will finish under the total.
