Washington vs Oregon Prediction, Game Preview, Live Stream, Odds & Picks
Thanks Clemson’s loss to Notre Dame, the Oregon Ducks have a realistic chance of making the College Football Playoff.
The Ducks will try to stay on course this weekend when they face the Washington Huskies, who are 7-2 on the season and have a potent offense.

Can the Huskies play spoiler here or at least cover the college football odds?
Let’s check the latest college football odds, stats, injury reports and college football lines for Washington vs Oregon. We’ve plenty of NCAA football odds for you to consider.
Washington Huskies
The Huskies did not play their best game against the Oregon State Beavers last week but they did manage a 24-21 win.
Washington struggled against Oregon State’s quality defense. Quarterback Michael Penix was not as accurate as he normally is, throwing a bad interception that impacted the game.
Washington committed a number of penalties and other mistakes, which prevented them from having a much smoother night and a more convincing win.
Even so, Washington scrambled back from a seven-point deficit and was able to win the game late. One thing to keep in mind about that win: Oregon State was playing its backup quarterback, Ben Gulbranson.
The Huskies were not going up against a particularly good signal-caller but in this game, they have to deal with Oregon’s Bo Nix. He’s had a tremendous season for the Ducks.
Washington’s defense has given up 45 points on the road at Arizona State and 40 on the road at UCLA. Those were the two games the Huskies have lost this season.
They will need to be a lot better in order to contain Oregon, which scored 49 points in its most recent game and has scored over 40 points in a majority of its games this season.
Oregon Ducks
Oregon blasted Colorado 49-10 last week, which was expected. The Ducks’ white-hot offense continues to put up huge numbers.
Nix has had an excellent season following his miserable performance in Week 1 against Georgia and he is fully in command of the offense.
He is making quick, crisp decisions and appropriate reads of the defense, while throwing an accurate ball.
He is also running for first downs and making plays outside the pocket, giving Oregon a complete package of skill and football IQ. While he’s not facing Colorado’s defense again, it’s not as if Washington’s unit has been stopping anyone.
Nix has a lot of weapons to throw to within the Oregon offense, especially receiver Troy Franklin. They have a lot of very speedy skill players on the edges who make life difficult for opposing defenses.
If there is one word of caution to mention about Oregon, it is that the Ducks have had a softer Pac-12 schedule to this point in time. Their next three games could be the toughest of their conference season.
This game against Washington is followed by games versus Utah and Oregon State. We will see if the Ducks tighten up and get nervous against better competition.
