Week 10 College Football Best Bets: Georgia Top SEC Betting Pick 11/02
- With an extra week of preparation, go with No. 2 Georgia to cover against Florida.
- When checking the Ole Miss vs Arkansas betting trends, three of the last five games went under the total.

The Week 10 schedule will not go down as the most compelling in recent memory in the SEC. Saturday’s best game will likely be the first one when Ole Miss plays at Arkansas. Ranked Alabama and Texas teams are off this week with the Crimson Tide preparing for a trip to Baton Rouge in Week 11.
Based on the college football lines, the most competitive game in Week 10 could be the matchup between Texas A&M and South Carolina, with the visiting Aggies favored by 2 ½ points.
If Texas had managed to find its way into the end zone in the second half instead of being limited to a pair of field goals vs Vanderbilt after halftime, we might have finished 3-0 in our SEC picks for the third week in a row. Still, going 8-1 during that stretch in the SEC football predictions isn’t the worst outcome.
The biggest movement in the national polls involved LSU falling eight spots to No. 16 in the Associated Press poll and going from No. 7 to No. 16 in the American Football Coaches Association poll. No. 2 Georgia did receive one first-place vote in both of the national polls.
When looking at the NCAA football futures odds, five of the top nine teams in the odds of winning the national championship hail from the SEC.
Let’s take a look at some of the bets to consider heading into Week 10.
Top 3 SEC Bets for Week 10
1. Georgia to Deliver Against Rival Florida
Just four years ago, Florida put up 44 points to take down the favored Georgia Bulldogs. Since then, Georgia has won by 27, 22 and 23 points. The college football spread has Georgia favored by 16 points in Saturday’s matchup.
There are times when it seems like the Bulldogs have more bark than bite but Georgia is coming off a 15-point win over previously top-ranked Texas and had an extra week to prepare for the matchup in Jacksonville against Florida.
Georgia hasn’t lost a game coming off a bye week since 2016 and we like the Bulldogs to have their way with an underachieving Florida squad, even if two defensive backs will need to sit out the first half after being called for targeting penalties in the second half of the win over Texas.

2. Go With Ole Miss-Arkansas Clash to Finish Under
Ole Miss could easily be taking an 8-0 record into a matchup with Arkansas this weekend. The Mississippi Rebels allowed a late touchdown to LSU before falling in overtime and had a head-scratching home loss to Kentucky.
The Rebels had at least 40 points in each of their four non-conference games but have been held to 27 points or less in four SEC games.
Rebels top receiver Tre Harris and second-leading rusher Matt Jones are among the players listed as questionable on the Ole Miss vs Arkansas injury report.

Arkansas is coming off a 58-point showing against a struggling Mississippi State program. However, in the other four conference games, the Razorbacks put up an average of 17.5 points. If that college football trend continues, the Week 10 matchup will land under the 53.5-point total set by the BetUS sportsbook.

3. First Score Might Not Come Early in Vandy-Auburn Matchup
Even though Vanderbilt stunned the college football world with its win over Alabama earlier this season, very few of the college football picks had the Commodores being within a score of a talented Texas Longhorns team.
Vanderbilt has won more than two SEC games just once in the last seven seasons.
The Commodores haven’t allowed a touchdown on the opposing team’s first possession in their first four SEC games.
The Auburn Tigers are one of four SEC teams to average less than 20 points in conference play so when looking at SEC Week 10 best bets, we like the +101 odds for the first score in the Vanderbilt-Auburn game not to come in the first six minutes.
