Spoiler alert: we’re riding heavy on the underdogs and for good reason. In a conference where upsets like Kansas over Iowa State have become routine, the underdog has become the best value given the parity around the Big 12.

1. BYU (-2½) Continues Hot Streak by Covering ATS vs Kansas
Kansas has a lot of confidence after upsetting Iowa State. Meanwhile, BYU needed some late magic (and a defensive holding call) to keep their undefeated season alive.

This is a much better Jayhawks team than we saw to start the season. Yet, BYU has been a much more consistent team.
The BYU Cougars have been able to survive having a target on the team’s back given the rising expectations. Look for BYU to cover the -2½ ATS in the NCAA football odds.

2. Utah (+11½) Covers Versus Colorado
It will be worth watching how Colorado performs now that the team is in the driver’s seat to make the Big 12 title game. Coach Prime has been all over college football news as he is three wins away from a trip to Arlington for the Buffs to play for the championship belt.
We saw Colorado get off to a shaky start versus Texas Tech. This is a 10 a.m. kickoff so we could be headed for a sleepy start.

Iowa State went from being the favorite to win the Big 12 to losing two straight games. I think the Cyclones will stop the skid, but there is no way Iowa State should be nearly a double-digit favorite versus Cincinnati.

4. Arizona State (+8) the Right Side Versus Kansas State
Kansas State has been a bit of a disappointment to me this season. Playmaking quarterback Avery Johnson just has not been as consistent as needed for K-State to be the class of the Big 12.

We love a good home dog. West Virginia is far from a contender, but we’ve liked the Mountaineers this season.
WVU appears to have found its footing after a challenging early schedule. I’m still not sold on Baylor whose three-game winning streak has mostly been against the bottom of the Big 12.
West Virginia is a 2.5-point underdog versus Baylor in the NCAA football lines. Let’s take the Mountaineers’ moneyline.

6. Bet Houston (+1½) Over Arizona
Let’s keep this one short. Arizona’s offense is not good, and Houston has proved to have one of the best defensive fronts in the conference.
