We could be headed for more chaos than The Pat McAfee Show when it comes to the College Football Playoff. Few undefeated teams remain, creating quite a future dilemma for the CFB Playoff committee.

The good news is that it is not our problem. Let’s take a look at my college football predictions for the top upset picks in Week 9. The only way to survive the chaos is to root for more weirdness.

Here’s a look at my best underdog college football bets to back on the moneyline.

Bet These 3 Week 9 College Football Underdogs

1. Oklahoma State (+210) vs Baylor

Oklahoma State may have snapped out of their cold streak, even if it did not lead to a win. The Cowboys narrowly lost 38-35 to No. 11 BYU.

It was not all bad news for the Pokes, as star running back Ollie Gordon looked like his old self. Meanwhile, Baylor is being a bit overvalued after a blowout win against Texas Tech.

It looks like oddsmakers are REALLY overvaluing Baylor’s win in the Butt Bowl versus Texas Tech. Guys, it’s called the Butt Bowl for a reason.

Look for Oklahoma State to pull off the upset in the college football betting lines.

2. West Virginia (+129) vs Arizona

This feels like a wrong team favored situation. After dropping 61 points in the team’s season opener, Arizona became more overhyped than a Kelce brothers podcast.

The Wildcats offense appears to be more like a one-trick pony with future NFL receiver Tetairoa McMillan. Yet, the dirty secret is that McMillan is essentially the entire Arizona offense.

West Virginia finally gets a winnable game after facing Kansas State and Iowa State the last two weeks. The Mountaineers should be able to punish the Wildcats on the ground.

Take West Virginia to pull off the upset in the NCAAF odds.

3. Texas Tech (+203) vs TCU

Neither of these teams are particularly good this season, so let’s not pretend this is must-see television. Yet, I am not sure what TCU has done this season to be nearly a touchdown favorite versus Texas Tech.

It feels like the NCAA football odds are an overreaction to TCU’s 13-7 win against Utah. This was not the Utes squad that looked like a conference contender when Cam Rising was at quarterback.

Texas Tech’s blowout loss to Baylor appears to be an outlier. The Red Raiders have wins over Arizona, Cincinnati and Arizona State. Texas Tech has shown the ability to flash this season, even if the Red Raiders have not been a model of consistency.

We’re taking Texas Tech to pull off the upset at the BetUS Sportsbook.
