Deadpool & Wolverine Betting Odds

Diehard MCU fans can bet on the Deadpool & Wolverine movie including the amount of money it makes, cameos, what will happen in the movie, and much much more.

If Deadpool & Wolverine meets studio projections, it will bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe back to its juggernaut status. But it has one thing going against it. The Motion Picture Association’s Classification and Rating Administration announced on Wednesday, June 5, that the film has officially been rated R for “strong bloody violence and language throughout, gore and sexual references.” It is the first film in the MCU to earn an R rating. It is worth noting that the original Deadpool is the highest opening weekend for an R-rated movie record holder at $132.4M.

Deadpool & Wolverine Box Office Performance Odds

For bettors, the US box office Over/Under total is set at $139 million. With the over $139M paying -140 (bet $140 to win $100) while the under $139M paying even money (bet $100 to win $100). In layman’s terms if the movie makes more than $139 million in the US in its opening weekend an over bet of $140 pays out a total of $240. However, if the movie makes less than $139 million in the US in its opening weekend an under bet of $100 pays out a total of $240.

You can also bet on if Deadpool & Wolverine will join the One Billion Dollar Club. The worldwide gross total is set at $999.5 million with the over $999.5M set at -140 while the under $999.5M pays even money. If Deadpool & Wolverine’s domestic opening weekend comes in over the $200 million mark, then the movie is all but guaranteed to become the MCU’s latest $1 billion hit. That is because of a long-running movie trend. There have been eight movies in history to have a domestic opening weekend of $200 million or more and all of them have crossed the $1 billion mark.
