BLEED complete their roster for 2024

In an effort to determine the ideal lineup composition for Dota 2, teams and organizations have been regularly rotating their rosters. Just in front of the Dreamleague Season 22 open qualifiers, the Singaporean esports team Bleed Esports revealed WilsonpolosonKoh and RafliMikotoFathur Rahman as their last players for the 2024 competitive season. After TommyTaigaLe departed the team after a short while and TengKordanTjin Yao joined Team Secret, the team was noticeably missing a midlaner and position five support. Bleed Esports had to shuffle its squad no fewer than 2 times in the last few anxious months. Tommy “Taiga” Le was recruited by Bleed for the ESL One Kuala Lumpur qualifier following The International (TI) 2023. Sadly, Bleed was eliminated from the main competition after losing to Aurora Esports and Blacklist International back-to-back. Following yet another disappointing outcome from a Tier 3 competition named Kobold Rave, Bleed and Taiga made the mutual decision to split.

The squad signed Mikoto, a former player for Talon Esports, who will undoubtedly add a plethora of expertise to the group. Midlaner Mikoto is a serious player that has participated in several important competitions and earned impressive rankings. Many people consider him to be among the best players in Southeast Asia.

Mikoto, who had a great 2023 season at Talon Esports, is back in the game. Talon proved they were the top SEA team going into The International 2023 with him in the mid lane. Their consistent performance in the Dota Pro Circuit SEA regional competition helped them place in the best 8 at the ESL One Berlin Major 2023, 3rd at the Lima Major 2023, and 3rd again at the $15,000,000 Riyadh Masters 2023. Nevertheless, Talon played poorly on the TI12 stage and only placed ninth to twelfth when they returned home, despite their excellent performance throughout the year. Following the event, every player quit the squad; four of them joined Aurora Gaming together.

Along with the players from the previous season, SouliyaJackkyKhoompetsavong, NatthaponMasarosOuanphakdee, and DjardielDJMampusti, these two are joining the team. Considering the team’s turbulent season the previous year, it is evident that this transition has been in the works for some time. Last year, the Singaporean had difficulty finishing in the top 3 on the Dota 2 Pro Circuit SEA Division 1 Tours 1 and 2. The Bleed lads were finishing strongly in Tour 3 after upending the status quo, but things soured once more at the Bali Major 2023.

Nevertheless, despite having played for some legendary teams like Scythe Gaming, Nigma Galaxy SEA, Invictus Gaming, and Team SMG, Poloson, who most recently competed for Myth Avenue Gaming, has limited experience in the Tier 1 scene. Poloson has been an active professional competitor since 2014 and, despite his lack of previous participation in the Tier 1 competition, he can make a substantial contribution to Bleed Esports because of his extensive knowledge of the game. There are now 3 TI players on the roster: DJ, Mikoto, and JaCkky.
